If you are running around in establishments that want you to wear a mask but refuse....
You are a terrorist...just not with a gun or a bomb but instilling fear by possibly infecting them.
Let me tell you how I handle people out in public that still wear masks. I audibly laugh and try and make them look silly.

Yes, yes, TERRIBLE of me!

But I do it because I'm a huge believer in "moving the needle". The ostracizing is important because if enough people do this awful silliness, businesses politicians, and authorities, feel emboldened to try and force OTHER people to comply with this type of fascism.

So you say you don't read a thing a person says then answer with your own opinions and judgement calls. Got it.

How can I be a terrorist when you have that impenetrable, life saving yet fashionable mask on your face?! Why, you should fear no one! You are protected behind a Dollar Tree mask !! Or one that Auntie May made! You are Teflon!!

Nah, I'm fine with my neighbors, it's just morons I have an issue with. But we all have our struggles #He's Still Workin on Me! :)
Most people would be afraid of someone with a mask on thinking they are up to no good. Like robbing a bank or something. I am in the not mask category. Don't call me a terrorist because I was a bookkeeper once in a bank, and a Security Guard for the MBL/IBM building..

I feel like we've done pretty well here in trying to understand each-other's points of view and maybe now we can move to the second phase? :)
Since we got past the tolerance-phase we can now move to the data-phase.
I will write something up later.
You see, now that i work from work i have more time to be here with you guys. When i was working from home? Oh man, i was busy busy busy busy busy helping actual people.
We're making America great again by doing nothing in the offices again.
So since there is no work being done in America in office settings i think it's better to talk to you guys since we don't accomplish anything anyway and we all have a good time.

We have yet to pass any "tolerance" phase, except in your imagination.

Several of us were just called literal terrorists for the grave sin of....
posting data and speaking out loud.

You're a bit worked up over this as well i know but if i ask 10 people "Hey do you guys care if i put a piece of cloth over my face" and 8 of them say "No" and 2 of them say "Yes" i would say that we've moved passed that phase and the results look good.
We're not infringing on free-will basically.

I said I was called a LITERAL TERRORIST, in your thread, by people in your camp, for just speaking.
Instead of addressing this, or addressing the people in your camp... you are trying to ignore it, brush over it, and accuse ME of something. That's what we call gaslighting and misdirection.

You need to address this issue, and address the people in your camp who are literally accusing peaceful Christians of committing violent crimes.
You need to address this, and deal with it.

Sigh. Let me give you a recap.
First of all this is just talk on a site on a forum and we don't change anything anyway.
In this topic we've also talked about REAL LIFE scenarios of people dealing with different situations with masks and we also talked about how sometimes EVEN in real life we feel infringed, but we don't do anything anyway. We talked about Fight or Flight and weighing the pros and cons of it.
So, this is where we are.

What would you like to do next here?

I don't take DB seriously. But let me ask you, do you see people who don't wear masks as terrorists? Because people who say that just show me how red pilled some people are. DB should apologize telling people they aren't just terrorist but not Christians for not wearing masks. I won't hold my breath, but if you're going to be fair in this thread, you ought to call out such nonsense. For the most part I could care less who wears a mask. But you need to think your views through. I have a friend who is a young mother of two, not married. She is partially deaf and reads lips to understand people. One of her children took sick and no one would take down their mask and speak to her. So DB, it's not so cut and dry as you like to think. Maybe people need to think before they speak. That might be a good start.

A.) If this thread DOES NOT change anything, and it DOES NOT matter... then stop talking. If it doesn't matter... stop bothering people with things that YOU admit don't matter.
B.) If it DOES matter, then you need to deal with the issues raised: address the vicious accusations made against innocent people... and address the reasons WHY people in your camp feel it's ok to accuse innocent people of violent crimes.

Something cannot matter, and not matter, at the same time.
Pick one.
You don't get to virtue signal, and gaslight, and just change the subject whenever it gets uncomfortable.
Deal with your bad arguments and bad propositions.
You started this thread, you ramped it up, and you intentionally goaded people into emotional responses... now you need to deal with it.

Absolutely not. I see all people as human beings first created in the image of God and most importantly i respect their free-will.
There have been some great points mentioned here by members like Cameron who also said that he respects free-will up to the tip of the nose and the property line. I thought that was very well-put.
I also made this clear with things that i don't like - like guns for example - i said that i don't care if you have 10 guns. I'm not going to hate you or anything like that.
So people are responsible for their own actions basically and i'm not going to police you or john. We make our own judgment and move on.

You're stuck in a lot of binary thinking huh? I can't imagine what your interpretation of the Bible is.
Have you ever thought about what happens when you reduce everything to True/False?

For example since you exist and are able to speak you risk being offended.
If True then don't speak, if False then risk being offended.

But do you understand, as with my deaf friend, that the mask issue is not so cut and dried? Now she's in Canada and they were hardcore in certain areas. But imagine you are her and your daughter is sick. You read lips to understand and everyone is masked. No one stops to understand that you communicate by reading lips. She was afraid for her daughter, she couldn't understand what she was being told.

Yes, i completely understand this 100% and this is where i was talking about with NightTwister about his specific asthma situation and discussing fight or flight.
I said that if i am faced with such things and if i was in his situation i would probably move somewhere else. I also said that i realize that this might be considered a drastic measure for a million reasons one of them being health, but for me i am able to do this right now. Maybe not later, but for now i can and i have done it in the past too. I moved WITH family with nothing but $20 on my back and everything turned out fine.
So ultimately we are left with choices basically. How often we ACT on those choices is a matter of perspective and personal situations.

I do understand, and people like to see your facial expressions. This makes a lot of sense someone who reads lips can't do that with their mouth covered.

"Have you ever thought about what happens when you reduce everything to True/False?"

All propositions have a truth value of negative or positive: they are either true or false.

If you cannot determine a truth value, it's because the proposition requires clarification... it isn't because truth has ceased to exist.

All propositions are either true or false:
- That is the nature of reality, which God created.
- That is the nature of logic, which God created.
- That is the implication built into every verse of scripture, from Genesis to Revelation.
- That is how we know God doesn't contradict himself... because truth and falsehood are perfect antitheticals, and are contradictory.

This is the basis of logic, and reality, built into the universe, and built into every verse of scripture.

If you don't like logic, or reality... you need to take that up with God.

I'm out of time for irrational postmodern nonsense for one day.
Take care everyone, I'll pop back in when I have time.

A New Hampshire license plate reads "Live free or die".
I think that's a pretty good description encompassing free-will.

That's not what i meant at all. I am able to tolerate a lot of things and the whole mask situation is ridiculous for many reasons one of them is because it was made political not medical or common sense approach or to factor-in people's health conditions.
It's the mandates that everyone (including me) have a problem with. Because i wouldn't want any mandates for things that i like to do and the government wants to take those away.

The sad thing about that is people have a free will but choosing wrong will end up a lot of people in hell. God didn't make robots. He wants people to use knowledge, discernment, and wisdom in their decision making.
