My son who lives in L.A. California (who's wife just delivered my 2nd Grandson Monday) texted me to ask if my brother who owns a ranch in SoCal happended to be selling eggs - because all the stores in LA are sold out...

I reached out to my brother and he provided me with the info below...
By the way my brother is also a retired Marine Officer (Force Recon and Intelligence Officer)...

After hearing his insight and inside scoop - I ordered some Powdered Eggs online for delivery to my son and his young family in Communist L.A. California...

My brother's response about the eggs supply and demand in Cali:
"We haven't been selling them (from his ranch). There's a black market going on thou. I'm too old to go to jail. lol
They're welcome to whatever we have on hand if they can to visit (my son & family). The kids and relatives always take some home.
Because of "bird flu" etc California is looking for homegrown operations, shutting people down etc...
Last time we went thru this. They were running swat team raids on people confiscating and destroying whole backyard flocks. To stop the spread of the flu. We're pretty isolated. Some areas if they find one "infected" bird. They started checking the neighbors etc...
Last month they put a "temporary" ban on transporting chickens for show's, auctions, sales etc and your suppose to have a state license for handling chickens and eggs for sale.
It was bull shit then and again now!
Just like those “mysterious” fires at numerous chicken ranches around the country. That wouldn’t sell out or play the game."
