You aren't a refugee though because your country is the belligerent in the war. Also you have made plain you just want slightly better living conditions and an American girlfriend lol, which is kinda fair and understandable, but like even so you can't attain that as the refugee status if that's what the Russian government people been telling you then they are misinformed. If you were a refugee you would first go to Georgia or Kazakhstan and then make that case that you are a refugee and apply for asylum or residency at a US embassy or consulate. Yes, ideally from Georgia one would go to Serbia or Hungary as step 2. go step by step, don't let good Russians that want to escape the fate of excommunicated Russia be too picky and unrealistic and expect to teleport to America lol. Go to Georgia if you want to try to go West. Go to Kazakhstan if you want to try to go South. Go to China if you want to go to another communist hell I guess.
