I will leave you with this thought. On both sides of the political spectrum are men and women who love God.. It is only when you get to the extremes of each end - on the right that would be fascists and on the left that would be Marxists - that I would have to consider whether or not they where christian. I can't see how those who are extreme right wing or extreme left wing can reconcile their views with what the bile teaches.

So stay calm - hold to your politically beliefs but don't demonize everyone else who disagrees with you.

Increased popularity among whom? Politicians, certainly, but not the people.

I don't think it is in the best interest of the church to label all women as "emotionally ill-equipped." There are two main reasons why God prohibits women from having spiritual authority over men:

1. Adam was first. Eve was made from adam's flesh. Therefore, Adam was chosen to lead the way forward for Eve. I believe this one fact sets the president of men leading in the home, regardless of whether it actually happens or not.

2. Eve was deceived. This had nothing to do with emotions. Instead, I believe that since Eve took the bait first, God's eternal punishment toward women is that they are no longer equals to men.

I know that there are other views, but I am sure they don't include "emotionally ill-equipped" as their main argument.

While I appreciate that you don't support the insult that Phoneman threw at all women, your views aren't exactly biblically sound either. Eve's forming from Adam's flesh says nothing whatsoever about Adam leading of Eve following. True, we don’t force anything. That’s why the wife is supposed to WILLFULLY submit to her husband’s authority over the family. The husband is supposed to love the wife to the point of dying for her to protect her and want only what makes her happy, and in exchange she is resolve herself to accepting his final say so on occasions where they disagree - occasions that should be extremely rare if his love compels him to habitually choose to do what makes her happy, right?
