Is believing in the Master Conspiracy good sense?

Imagine yourself as someone with such great power that you could organize a master conspiracy that would bring the entire world under their control. Look at the great power of technology to destroy the world. Imagine what would happen if this power were just left in the hands of belligerent, egotistical actors. Would you not feel a moral obligation to bring these actors under your control, so they would not destroy the world? Would you not also train another generation of conspirators to continue your project after you retire or die? Would you not have to arrange for many minor conspiratorial projects to train them and keep them busy? Would you not hire the best teams of experts to design the best methods of control? What would be the best methods of control? Would you not hide your power under a facade of incompetence, so your enemies could not see your real power? Would you not distribute false stories of conspiracy that can be easily discredited, so that people come to discredit all conspiracy stories, including the ones that your teams are successfully executing? Would you not take control of mainstream media and list your news sources as the "credible" ones that people need to believe in to avoid the "fake news" sources, which you have largely created? Does your imaginary picture begin to look like the real world out there?

To give this a little historical detail think of what FDR was dealing with when he gave his Four Freedoms Speech on January 6, 1941. For the freedoms from fear and want, he used the phrase "which, translated into world terms," because for these he was taking a globalist perspective, not just an individual one. He was advocating that the U.S. prepare for World War II, which resulting in the U.S. becoming the world superpower. To facilitate this he had transferred the U.S. Pacific Fleet from San Diego to Pearl Harbor. An oil embargo had been imposed on Japan so that it would feel the need to seize the Sumatran oil fields before its reserves were exhausted. U.S. forces in the Philippines threatened the new Japanese supply lines. .Japan was led to believe that it could conduct a successful torpedo attack against the Pacific Fleet in the shallow water of Pearl Harbor. Eventually the U.S arranged its obsolete battleships for great dramatic effort. The harbor was dredged so Japanese torpedoes would not hit the bottom. Manhole covers were removed from the Oklahoma so that it would capsize. The Arizona was filled with flammable fuel and set up to provide a dramatic background of fire, smoke, and explosion. In November the Japanese had taken the bait and begun planning for their attack. The U.S. was beginning to set up the harbor for its dramatic role when FDR gave his speech, so he no longer had to worry about organizing for the U.S. declaration of war.

In June FDR had reorganized atomic bomb research to proceed rapidly. He surely understand that this was going to make a World War II type of war obsolete. He talked about disarmament after the war, but there is a second way to prevent further large scale war. This is to make it so destructive that no one could possibly hope to benefit from it. The public is not going to support this, so deception is necessary. What the U.S. did was to switch the decimal points in its list of bombs. This made it look like the Soviet Union had several times more nuclear firepower, when the U.S. really had twenty times more. The Soviet Union went along with this because it made them look much stronger than they really were. It made the military-industrial complex happy, because they could readily get their demands for more weapons easily approved. At its peak in 1965 the nuclear arsenal had 1.5 million megatons of fission yield - plenty to insure that even a small part of it being used would wreck the global ecosystem.

As FDR said in his speech, the globalist view on freedom from want is that wealth must be better distributed among the countries of the world. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency was instrumental in bringing about modern telecommunications technology. This has enabled the distribution of wealth by enabling companies to distribute their facilities around the world. China has now recovered most of the economic position it had before the Industrial Revolution. Inequality is still too great to insure the stability of a new world order. Is not the current coronavirus crisis the Master Conspiracy's way of bringing about greater equality between nations so that a global culture can be implemented attuned to a much higher degree of automation?

I think people give far too much credit to other people and their ability to organize and control massive conspiracies on a global scale over many generations..

There is a global scale conspiracy but it is not one controlled and organized by a cabal of human actors.. It is a conspiracy controlled and directed by what the Bible calls ""the prince of the power of the air"" a spirit that works through the children of disobedience whether they know it or not.. I would suggest that the vast majority of the people this evil spirit works through have no idea they are being herded like cattle to a slaughter..

So conspiracy Yes.. But i see it as a cascade of conspiracies.. It is as a pyramid which each level running a different conspiracy and the people of that level think their conspiracy is the important one in operation.. But above them are smaller groups running conspiracies using the ones below and so at each level there is another higher and more secret conspiracy.. Until you get to the second top level where the human beings cannot riase above.. And at the top of the pyramid you have the Capstone, the evil spirit who is running a conspiracy against all the people of the world below..

well if you dont believe in God then yea all you can know is satan is running this world and he's running it to the ground and its evil.

But good news is God is going to redeem the world, he has through Jesus and through us His believers.
so it doesnt make sense to believe that evil will triumph in the end cos it wont.

I once got into chatting with someone who suffered schizophrenia who believed in conspiracy after conspiracy. He really got worked up about it, and was somewhat convinced he had all this power to control the world being a computer programmer of some description. But thing is I reckon he played too much video games when he should really be thinking of his children and talking to his wife.
