The main enemy of a flat earth is gravity you would have to take gravity away to have a flat earth and so far none of the flat earthers have even attempted to disprove my point of mass and gravity in the earlier page I don't know if it's because they didn't see or if it's because they can't disprove it but I have learned that it doesn't matter how much evidence you give a person if they are completely unwilling to receive it.
and sunrise and sunset, and moonrise and moonset, and the earth's shadow on the moon, and different stars being visible from the southern hemisphere, and the apparent rotation of the stars in the sky changing by hemisphere, and being able to see further from elevations, and the phenomena of things disappearing from the bottom-up over horizons, and the existence of seasons, and the existence of time zones, and the coriolis effect, and the fact that antartica actually exists and has been explored by thousands of people, and the fact that satellites exist, and the evidence of actual circumnavigation by plane and boat, and the thousands of images readily available of the earth from space, and ham radio, and the testimony of millions of pilots and tens of millions of people who have climbed mountains and traveled in airplanes, and navigation across seas, and the timing of different aspects of solar flare radiation reaching the earth vs. when it is first observed, and the existence of aurorae, and Eratosthenes experiment of measured shadows, and windstreams and ocean currents, and vulcanism, and the parallax of distant objects, and the motion of planets, and the laws of motion, and of optics, and of inertia, and the existence of the atmosphere, and the measurable fuel consumption of aircraft flying east/west vs west/east, and the magnetic south pole, etc etc etc etc

I never thought of that! There are probably ladders, block and tackle, and the works to help pull them back up on the West side. I think if we capture a photo that would settle the matter!

Perhaps if we dig straight down we could get out of the bottom of the flat disc and intercept the ships as they float across!

I want to know who it was that took all that radioactive debris from the Fukushima fallout, pulled it back onto the Western edge of Earth after it fell off the Eastern edge, and then sent it to the California shorelines! :p ;)

why don't we just dump all our garbage off the edge?

pollution = solved

simple: fire a rocket to poke a hole in the glass dome that the stars are painted on.
this allows heat to escape, cooling the earth.
if the earth gets too cold, we build a ladder and put a cork in the hole. or better yet, a valve, and let Trump control the thermostat ((why Trump? because, liberals.))

voila

They took photos from Mars.. of the Earth and Moon
And, you have personally definitively ascertained that these "photos" are real and not fake? Or, are you simply taking NASA's word for it, because you "just don't believe that they would lie to you"...?

Were you able to recognize features of the Earth and moon in those photographs that you believe are uniquely unmistakable?

Have you even personally definitively ascertained that they are real photographs and not CGI pictures?

( sigh )

People are so gullible... :(

Hi Gary
I've always found this discussion interesting and will be reading the thread.
I apologize if this has been asked already, but could you tell me Why NASA and our govt would need to make us believe the earth is round? What difference does it make?

Fran
Because, it has the effect of "hiding God"; and, it "feeds" the 'evolution' lie. And, more important to the modern-day present -- it helps them in deceiving and controlling the masses...

It is not my duty to disprove 'gravity'. It is your duty to prove it. With actual real science, and not the assumption-based stuff that modern science often puts forth.

I usually don't bother to try to answer questions from people who are not actually truly interested in learning about Flat Earth. Now, if you want to ask me a question about a specific thing represented at such-an-offset of such-a-video -- thereby, showing me that you are at least willing to watch the videos posted -- demonstrating that - just maybe - you have a real interest in learning -- then, I might be more inclined to try to help you... ;)

As long as people only want to make jokes - and not ever take any of it seriously --- why in the world would you think that I would want to waste my time on such people?????

Get real.

:p

I have learned that it doesn't matter how much evidence you give a person if they are completely unwilling to receive it.
This is what Flat Earth folks have learned about Ball Earth folks... ;)

Eyes-closed. Ears-closed. Mind-closed. Still-stuck-in-the-MATRIX.

which should, if flat earth were correct, have the airliner crashing into the "firmament dome" - lol!
This is not correct. The picture shows the airliner 'skirting' the ice-wall ( Flat Earth equivalent ) -- nowhere near the dome.

I'm not sure where we're misunderstanding each other but...airliners fly directly south out of Sydney on a daily basis, headed for Santiago, Chile...by way of the outskirts of the South Pole...not skirting the North Pole. On a flat earth map that would have the airplane crashing into the dome within hours. See your flat earth map below:

In any case, the fact is these airliners make the 7000 mile journey (according to spherical maps) in about 12.5 hours...whereas on the flat earth map you can see this would be an absolutely massive trip. The distance would be almost twice that long and should take about 22-23 hours (traveling at 550mph)...and absurdly, it would have to cut across Canada and Brazil...something that does NOT happen in real life...simply because flat earth is not a reality.

On a flat earth, the ONLY way to get from Sydney (located on the East coast of Australia) to Santiago...would be to head North (or "North" with quotation marks if you prefer) and then skirt the North Pole (or whatever you guys call it). But in real life, ALL these flights go the exact opposite direction and take HALF the time it should if flat earth maps were correct.

You've given me a few "likes" over on some other threads so I don't want to be too 'mean' but, goodness gracious...this flat earth thing...mama mia.

I have flown to Sydney and back 5 times....4 times from Dallas (17 hours non stop there and about 15 hours back) and once from L.A. (about 15 hours there and about 13 back)...at 41 to 42 thousand feet and the earth sure looks round from up there (curvature)........love Qantas.....I have coined (Roo the Skies) hahahahha

A-380 airbus...wingspan 4 feet short of 100 yards, 550 people, double decker, 300,000 liters of fuel in the wings and 500,000 pounds unloaded......love the flight....hope to make it again soon within the next 2 to 4 weeks.........the longest non-stop commercial flight in the world was from Dallas to Sydney.......

I have friends who fly direct from Melbourne to South Africa..I once watched a video of a guy who believes that those flights advertised are fake and part of a global earth conspiracy *shakes head* youtube science ey...

We are not misunderstanding each other. You are misunderstanding how to properly read a Flat Earth map.

All I was saying was that - on the Flat Earth [ map ] equivalent of the "High Enroute" map you posted, the path never reaches the dome - or even the ice wall, for that matter --- therefore, it does not "crash into the dome"...

( Sure -- it would be a longer path on a Flat Earth map -- but, that was not the 'issue' of my statement... )

You need to learn to think "like Flat Earth" - not "like Ball Earth" - when you look at a Flat Earth map. ;)

Don't wrap the Flat Earth map around a ball --- that is what started all of the confusion in the first place... hahahaha

:)

[SUP]13 [/SUP]And the evening and the morning were the third day.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
[SUP]15 [/SUP]And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
[SUP]18 [/SUP]And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.Genesis 1:13-18

If you launch a satellite to study antartica and you get a picture of it as below how does this
match with your claim and map?

Oh sure flat earth solves all kinds of problems.

For example you can skip all the hard part's of an education, like all science and math.

;)
