What is the cause of the sun speeding up and then slowing down? Seems, based on your map, that if the sun did actually go down then the entire earth would then be dark, and when it rose, the entire world would be in light. This is not how it is. Did someone actually physically mapped the flat earth out or is this pure conjecture based on a faulty premise? What exactly is on the edges? What is to prevent stuff or people from falling off the edge and start floating in space?

God created the sun, moon, and the stars, and he commands them to run their courses. That is what you see when you look up to the sky; them running their courses. No, the entire world would not be dark when the sun goes down. When the sun goes down in the west, it stays around 93 miles up over the world; as it passes over the north. Then in the east it starts to rise, and speed up as it goes over the south. Once over the south, it starts to slow down; all the way until it gets back to the west. That is why South America has to be moved on the true map of the world to the claimed west; from where it is on a lying azimuthal map of the world with the claimed North Pole in the center; because the sun is still high in the sky over the south when it is first seen there. Australia and New Zealand also had to be moved to the claimed east a little from where they appear on that lying map, because the sun starts to rise over the south while it is still visible to them.
Yes someone actually physically mapped a version of my map out. His name is Donal McLaughlin; and he did it in 1945, to propose that the United Nations adopt his map as a flag. Look, those running the world know that this is the truth. As soon as that map was released to the public, that is why they got rid of it just over a year later; on December 7, 1946, and made the UN flag what it is until this day – a version of the azimuthal map of the world with the claimed North Pole as the center.
From that map that he drew, all I did was make the adjustments that needed to be made. First, I put the Tropic of Cancer, the claimed equator, and the Tropic of Capricorn over it; and then raised Australia toward the claimed geographical North Pole, because it was flat. Then I brought Asia in a little toward the claimed geographical North Pole. I did a few more redrawing, adding, and moving of places that had to be moved to align up to where they are supposed to be under the Tropic of Cancer, the claimed equator, and the Tropic of Capricorn; and then you are looking at the true map of the world (after you turn it 135° clockwise). What is most important about the map that he drew, was that for the most part the longitudes (used in the lying system of latitude and longitude that we have today) are correct.
What is at the edges is where the firmament and the heavens come down to rest; that we cannot pass. The bible says that nothing escapes the heat of the sun.

What is outside of the world is the outer darkness that Jesus talked about. The lake of fire is out there. You would not want to go there, nor can you go. And you are not going to fall off of the edge; because again, at the edge of the world, which many people have been to for the last hundred years; that is where the heavens come down to rest, that we cannot pass.

If the earth is really a fishbowl why in the world would the US military try to blow it up?
This was 15 years after Byrds last antarctic expidition. The high altitude nuclear tests were carried out at Johnston Atoll, not too far from Hawaii. If they were secretly trying to blow up the only thing holding earth's atmosphere in, so as to destroy all life on the planet, why do it near the equator where the target is as close to unreachable as possible? Instead of at Antártica where they had established military bases and supposedly you can walk up to the fishbowl and put your hand on it?
