Whether it be communism, socialism, capitalism, etc. their authority only governs a person life while they are living. The government of God extends into eternity and is built upon fundamentally different principles. The strength of God's government is not girded by participation of or agreement with men. He establishes His government's foundation upon the Son who never fails. All authority is given to Him.
Earth-bound Monarchical rule most emulates, although poorly, the rule of God and His government. A nation who, at its inception, rejected kingly authority (like the United States), has no chance of emulating God's heavenly rule within its traditions and founding documents. Instead, they will massage the definitions of words to make their plans seem more godly. And why not? Access to God was first made into a commodity by the Romans; something to buy and sell and leverage against the people. If a country can monetize its government as a means to worship the Creator (whoever that is) then they may also claim "divine right of kings" when bombing its opponents.
To understand earthly, governmental rule we must first agree that man was created to need the Living God. If man wants to rule over another man, then, he only needs to make his ways sound more godly or at least more enlightened. And, because all men are born into darkness, ruling man is permitted, by the darkened populous, to act within a certain level of secrecy. Some forms of governance demand it. Others claim to embrace transparency while making excuses for much-needed back-room meetings. In truth, all forms of governance devised by men require some form of darkness, some level on unaccountability by its leaders. When their foundation is not the Living God and His Son, some corruption is expected. It is evil to leverage this weakness against the people.
Now, if you think I'm against a Constitutional Republic (CR) you're wrong. I do, however, completely reject the idea that a CR is the model of God's Kingdom. No. He rules as a King. My views about the U.S. government is similar to Winston Churchill's view of democracy: "Democracy is the worst form of government, save for all others".
