You know you're getting old when your teen-crush was Donny Osmand, but your first born child asked, "Who's he, Mom? Was he from college?" (True story)

You realize Donny Osmand only has 1 wife?

He has to be the worst Mormon ever.

: )

But he can rock a bow tie.

I reckon, but Donny didn't have a wife when he was 18, and I, well, I was in the 4th grade!!

...and you're not gonna believe this, but there's this Moose around here who looks like Donny when he was a teen. Good Lord! There's a heaven! :)

There's no need to insult him by calling him "the worst Mormon ever." And FYI, MOST Mormons abandoned the practice of polygamy years ago, so it's fairly obvious why he only has one wife!! LOL!! Some ppl seriously need to get their facts straight before commenting.. just sayin'..

I was making a joke.

I grew up in the Mormon Church... I know exactly what they believe and what they do.

I know I'm getting old because having ice cream for dinner sounds like a bad idea.

No worries.

I joke around a lot.

It takes twice as long to look half as good.

It takes two tries to get up from the couch.

The clothes you've put away until they come back in style...have come back in style.

LOL! When I was a kid, I remember cutting a 45 record of the song "Sweet & Innocent" off a cereal box and playing it on my record player. This was the song below:

LOL, Banana!!

If it's any consolation, I saw Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in Chicago, starring Donny... and he was AMAZING. I saw another production of the same show several years later but it had another actor and just couldn't compare. Donny's version blew everything else out of the water.

Granted... this was... about 20 years ago (meaning, I'm old, too! :)) but my Mom and I were both a little smitten.

And, from what I've read about him, he seems like a pretty solid family guy (especially for someone who grew up in Hollywood), which, to me, is more than a good enough reason to look at him a little starry-eyed. ;)

When your Sunday School teacher begins the lesson with "I'm not sure if any of you are old enough to remember this television show..." and you not only remember that show, but remember that it was a spin-off from another one of your favorite childhood TV shows. :( ;)

You know you're getting old when you have to check the obituary to make sure you're still alive.
"But in the morning I collect my wits
Jump out of bed and check the obits
If my name's not there, I guess I'm not dead
So I eat a good breakfast and hop back in bed"

You know you're old when people who know you, think your sister, whose 10 years older then you, is you.

You know you're old when nonsensical radio commercials annoy you, for having nothing to do with what they're selling. Add TV commercials to the mix, and there ya go!

I used to laugh at my father telling him old when he reach his 50. Now I´m old and, what keeps me "young" is the awareness of my limits and limitations... It is sad when we´d daydream ignoring certain truths or limitations.
I´m thankful for being alert!
To my awareness, I´m old!
I have the hunch I have said that, about my father, somewhere else (and it could be on this thread).
:p
