There are no single Christian men around me in Michigan that are right for me. I do lose hope but the right guy has to be out there somewhere!

Hello! I am almost 30 years old, and can't seem to find any decent single men. Where are they? lol :)
Here I am ;)

Lol but this is a Christian chat site, this isn't a dating site. If you're after a man, go on a dating site.

Don't lose hope but pray to God to search and find a man of your heart's desire. Perhaps a loving Christian man on this site is looking for a loving single Christian woman. Or maybe you will bump into him in the produce department where you do your grocery shopping. You just never know who you are going to meet. I grew up in Detroit and later lived in Lansing for a time. Glad to have you as part of the family. Welcome to CC.

Well. Us humans are complex things. There can be an available opposite available that each person would not consider due to character. We all have different characters of course. It is the way God has made us. Different fashions and ways may make some not meet yet they may be ideal.
One thing I will say is that one needs to date and be sure before marriage and listen to Gods guidance.

I think most Christian men are homebodies or loaners. They do solo sports like ride their bikes, putter around the house/garage/yard or watch TV or play video games. Sure they are at church, but I think more women go to church than men.

Any time I go to a social event that is geared towards singles (40-??) women comprise at least 60% of the people there. This goes for secular or Christian events. Where are the single men? SERIOUSLY.

I've found that I'm not much of a pursuer. A women has to show interest in me before I feel comfortable pursuing anything. Never been the type to just pick out someone and go after it though I have tried that approach. I'm also very introverted so I really enjoy a women who knows how to talk.

Too often I've read/heard about women wanting to be found...as though they aren't allowed to look and/or let the world know they exist.

I'm in a relationship because a woman approached me(i.e. - initiated contact on the internet).
Interesting! I had two relationships, one swift and fleeting, one extremely long, both men were from the UK, so maybe it's a cultural thing, but both of them said, "YOU were the one who contacted ME." I asked both of them, "So?", but received no reply. The long-term relationship man visited the US with me, and we went to a mall. A woman slipped her phone number into his hand, and he was shocked! I just said, "Welcome to America! Now throw that darn piece of paper away please."

My daughter tried her hand at an online dating site and said she would never initiate a connection. I asked her why, and she said men like to be the pursuers. If they do not initiate the pursuit, they have an excuse that they are just accepting something good until someone else comes along, or something like that. Or maybe she just wanted a strong man. I'm not quite sure.

As as man, do you have any enlightenment on this?

I pose the same question to you as the one I just wrote to Test_F_i_2_Luv above. Care to enlighten me?

When I did my profile write-up, it was very long. I went into great detail about what I am looking for in a woman and what I have to offer as a man, as well as what I see as my negatives/shortcomings.

My now gf read the profile and found it interesting. She decided to message me here on CC. After her initial contact, I then became the "aggressive" and "assertive" one. Besides messaging her on here, I slowly asked/suggested/requested more intimate and personal forms of communication. We eventually exchanged phone numbers and later exchanged video conferencing IDs. After several months I went out to visit her on the west coast.

Over time, I went out to the west coast a couple more times, and she visited my area a couple times as well. After approximately 1.5 years, she decided to move to my area.

What made this all happen was her initiating contact with me. After that, I became the aggressive pursuer.

Does this help clarify my previous post?

me I disagree with dating sites because I quite like this christian chat site better, ive only been here for about 2 days and ive already answered some questions, had a few laughs, and blown off a little steam(no im not a steam engine) and found some really smart christians to talk to,about the only place I've been able to discuss so greatly is at my family church in new market, eternal life missionary baptist, yes the same one that god flooded years ago my cousin lloyd was pretty sad but we are doing great in fact thanks to god telling my uncle to turn off the breaker it was only flooded if he hadnt the place wouldve been burned down because there was live wires under it so the flood was kind of a blessing in disguise and now the place is renovated a little we are gaining members and its the main church I feel the holy spirit at,but that aside it's just good to have some more bible learnt people to talk to and discuss with.

The Christian Single Men And Women are not hiding neither are kept in a mysterious abode beyond our reach.

The reasons why they appears to be hiding and eventual unqualified for our kind of help meet whenever we finally see in the physical are because we set rules and regulations, custom and tradition, principle, high class, taste and conditions for God on whom we desire to be our life partner.

Hear what Our Lord and Saviour of our spirit, soul and body; " Jesus Christ " said:

"" Ye make and set customs and traditions for yourself thereby making God's Words of none effect in your life.""

That's to say it is our own taste for the kind of life partner we want that still make most people thinks that Christian Help Meet are not visible or viable.

We want God to do according our own selfish will but we don't want to be lie Jesus Christ who told God our Father Dad if it please you let this cup be take off me but not as I will but Let your Will be done.

If we would allow God's perfect will be. We would have got married and had our grand children.

Even if God scream and yell from Heaven saying son, daughter this is my beloved child in whom I am well pleased mary him or her. Most of us won't obey. Did you know why? Our custom and traditions ad bewildered our mind.

God had been show us whom He had chosen for us as a help meet in dreams, open vision, trace, rhema, prophecy, and commandments
But out taste for our selfish desire had kept us still single.

But today! whatever forces that made us to disobey and held anyone bound in single hood of any kind. Such forces is destroy now in the name of Jesus Christ.

As the Lord God Almighty lives in the next three months you would be happily married. In Jesus Name.

Your fellow in Heavenly Race,

-Kraunphitmi Jacob

Says somebody who lives in the USA full of Christians.

In my country, there are about 10% of Christians, 90% of them are roman catholics.

Now, thats a challenge!

They are there but you can not see them with your physical eyes. Look with your spiritual eyes and you will see them. We walk by faith not by sight.
