I just ate half a huge home-made pancake, with maple syrup and banana :)

I put applesauce and yogurt in the dough mix, with an egg (y)

It is my new favourite breakfast food :D

We need pictures. :)
I would love to oblige you, but my camera recently went kaput :cry:

I may have lost my SD card in the process :censored:

And, I did look for images online, but found nothing that did justice to my own concoction :giggle:

What's the problem with your camera? I might be able to help because I have brought a couple cameras back to life. It depends on whats wrong with it. Dont worry about hijacking the thread. Its my thread lol.

What's wrong is I did not use it for quite some time, and the batteries (yes, it runs on double A's) did their breaking down thing... I was able to change them, but as soon as I put new ones in and turned the camera on, the lens extended and then the camera shut down completely and I cannot even open the area where the batteries go, which is also where the SD card is... it seems to be sealed shut, or something. I laid the camera (lens down) on my sideboard and looked at it weeks later, and I could see the acidification had spread to the outside edge of the camera body o_O I bought the camera maybe six years ago? My daughter advised me not to due to the fact that it took batteries, but I could not resist: it was only $50.00, purple, a 14 megapixel HD movie Fujifilm camera :) Do you think there is any hope the SD card could be okay after all that? If I can ever get it out, that is ;):giggle: Thank you for your offer to help :D

Well this is definitely the first I've heard of this type of problem. But if it's the corrosion that's keeping you from opening the battery compartment, try spray a little WD40 around the edges of the opening and give it some time to soak in and loosen up the corrosion, then try to open it.

I will have to have a look-see under my kitchen sink and hope to find some WD-40 there :)

Thanks for the suggestion! :D

Normally you could just use some baking soda in water to remove the corrosion but it might short out the batteries.

Try a 50-50 mix of whole grain oatmeal flour and whole wheat flour. Use buttermilk. Totally awesome.

I'm glad you're being well taken care of. So sorry you didn't make it to Canada, yet. Never give up!

The fact is getting turned away may have saved my life. I was seriously neglecting my own health. I'm glad Gods will is stronger than my own. Thanks for being & staying positive.

Given that I am hungry, I'd have to say that the last thing I ate was...

inadequate.
