If i have an extra late night and have to get up early in the morning i try to get in a nap during the day.. getting a half hour sleep at lets say 3,00pm makes a huge difference if you have been running short of sleep..

I used to go to bed between 9.30-10.30pm especially during winter but my sleep sometimes goes funny and I find it hard to fall asleep. Lately I haven't been able to sleep until the early parts of the morning. I don't know why (n):(

Usually between 8:30 and 9:00 p.m. but last night I fell asleep watching Youtube, so it was almost 9:30 when I woke up and went to bed.. lol

I really hate it when somebody wakes me up from a perfectly good nap, just to tell me it's time to go to bed. :p

I remember a pastor who had suffered years of insomnia saying "devil if you are going to keep me awake at night I will use the opportunity to learn and read the word of God". They never suffered a bad nights sleep again. :D(y)

Well...it just depends. If I fall asleep at midnight I feel I've done a good thing.

Sometimes my cycling keeps me awake until dawn (or that pre-dawn moment where the birds start to sing and I'm like "alas, please Lord sleepies) I get off the net around 3am at the latest.

I get up and lay back down. I've read all the literature on how to fall asleep to no avail. Drug induced sleep works (sometimes) other times I just feel more awake and end up falling asleep at like 11am and get maybe 20% of usual.

So I say not to Z drugs. once a month I'll have some sleepy tea. Dreaming is legitimately the only motivator for me to fall asleep.

When school was in session, I tried to be in bed by 9:30-11, but now it depends on how I’m feeling. I typically regret this come August when I have to get back into a regular sleep routine. 🙂

Yes, That is so excellent advice for Christians who suffers from insomnia.
However, although sometimes when I tried to do it, I would get in rush into absorbing in Youtube...

On workdays I go to bed around 7:45 PM and get up between 3:30 and 4:00 AM. If I don't have to go to work the next morning I go to bed between 9:30 - 10:00 PM and get up in the morning between 5:30 AM and 6:15 AM..
I am very similar. Except I rarely sleep passed 5 on off days and I am usually in bed around 9 consistently.
