I knew full well what I might be facing when I wrote this, yes, and quite possibly, a banning as well. I suppose it's a bad thing that I have a tendency to know the consequences and sometimes still proceed. I just happen to not always see it as a bad thing.

And, I do usually write what's on my mind as a general topic.

I do thank everyone here, and appreciate the honesty and graciousness.
James 3:5-8 NIV:

Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.
All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.

For Sean -- it was a bit of a coincidence but like I wrote, if you've read my threads and posts and see a history of my threads, I'm pretty transparent. I always say I'd rather deal with ugly truths than pretty lies, even about myself. As you can also see, I'm willing to take the backlash or I wouldn't try. :)

A guy once told me, "You have more (nerve) than all my friends and me combined." No, not really. There are just times I feel I have to try something, good or bad. And yes, I'm willing to pay the price. I realize there are several people out there who would probably write their fill of threads about ME, and of course, I completely understand that.

It's not that I don't like Tommy or that I wanted to bash him. I had posted directly to him in threads but never got an answer. All I was looking for was a personal answer. I admire his perseverance but do hope he shows the more understanding, compassionate side of his heart and allows us to get to know him as a person.

Zero -- I will take your CORRECTION ANY time because you are my FRIEND. You've listened to me patiently, offered suggestions and advice, given helpful Scriptures, and cared enough to ask what was going on in my life. You have been with me through some rough times, and always offered prayer, so I always listen to anything you have to say. When I was going through some things, when my family was going through some things, you cared enough to check up on me, and you've never even met me. The best friends I have are the ones who are honest with me, and I prayed to God today to help me get better because of you. I hold you with the highest respect, as well as several others here at CC who not only take the time to voice an opinion, but really get to know others on a personal basis without telling me everything I'm doing wrong before I've even had a chance to explain what I'm going through.

This is another one of my flaws. I tend to only listen to people who have taken the time to get to know me personally (family, friends, pastors, elders) --the ones who are there through good and bad, through both praise and correction, and believe me, they know I'm someone who needs to be stood up to now and then. :))

But when it's people who don't know me and try to speak into my life... I listen to what they have to say and I respect them...

But I don't really take what they say to heart.

P.S. Superman is awesome. And Christopher Reeve will always be my favorite.

I wasn't trying to be correct you, Kim. What you wrote reminded me of that scripture and when I read it it felt like it really fit the situation so I posted it in hopes that it might be helpful, not to chastise you. There are some people I would like to chastise but you're not one of them! :)

Actually ugly the first few posts werein defense and said they liked his. exhortations...so people post for different reason...i would rather someone say what the thought of me than ignore me..for me that is more loving...i ignore the people i do not care about, or have given up on communicating with, and tommy has used this thread to voice his opinion...
Well, i prefer to use wisdom to know when someones open to listen instead of beating a dead horse or bashing my head against a brick wall hoping to move it.

And i never said anywhere in my thread that everyone who posted was bashing. So the point of the first few posts was irrelevant. I already knew that, and if you read my post you'll see i was aware not everyone was bashing.

Right, he used this (and many others) to voice his opinion. I don't like what he has to say, ever. So rather than wasting my time scrolling down his long posts i have no interest in i put him on ignore. Much easier for me that way.
I post my opinions as well, and if someone wants to put me on ignore for not liking what i have to say, i could care less. Its a non-issue. Maybe in your mind its 'more loving' or about 'not caring about someone' but thats your mind. Not my mind. People can view the same actions with differing ideas on what it means.
Another reason i don't bother trying to 'be loving' and 'communicate' with him is i see tons of other people doing it constantly and it never does a thing (head on brick wall). So why do i need to be person 101?

You're making a lot more of this than i ever thought, or meant. And apparently missing some of what i did say.

Okay, so a mistake was made. Can people please get off her back about it now? Cheers.
Well, most people weren't even acknowledging her directly about it. So its not like the whole thread is a Seoul bashing thread. It was a minority. And up until the post (just one above yours) she had not given any sort of response to the people that questioned her on making this thread. Now that she has responded i'm sure that anyone keeping up on this post will leave her alone.

Ah, an oldie but goodie.

The secret to longevity on this site is just to tough it out and stick around.

Eventually, the haters go away or get banned. Sure, new ones will pop up, but you'll learn how to handle it.

Lol... Thanks for the memories, Zero.

And may God bless THIS Tommy, wherever he is.

And, just to clarify, the Tommy mentioned in this particular thread is NOT the Tommy we have in singles right now. :)

How do we know for sure?:p
Well, let's see what happens.

The person I wrote this thread to would tell me I'm going to hell.

The Tommy we know now would tell me to get a burger. :p

:) Mayhaps we’ll just forget about that 2013 edition:p. I’ll prefer burgers over Hell.

1. How did you find this thread?
2. WHY did you find this thread?
3. Why did you post in this thread to resurrect it?
4. What are you going to do for your next act?
5. Can I bring my own snacks for this show, or do I have to play like it's a movie theater and only buy the concession stand snacks? (I'll smuggle my own eats in anyway, but I want to know if I should be hiding them.)
