yea she was amazing vocalist but some of her songs are just so sad.
And really horrible what happened to her regarding anorexia.
I think being in the limelight out in front singing may have contributed but from what I read her mother was terribly mean to her.
She had so much going for her she could have even been a musical or broadway star if they had done musicals back in the seventies. Anyway, there was a time when I just listened to carpenters albums non stop cos I couldnt get enough of her voice, it just sounded like it was from heaven.

I saw an interview with someone who knew her and worked with her. I forget who it was, it might have been Richard, but i can't remember. He said there was a concert that she did and she heard one of the producers say that she looked big and she took it very personally and started to lose weight. She was actually wearing a dress that was sort of puffy and made her look a bit puffed out.
oh that is why when people, particularly when men say about a womans size a if all that matters, like what they LOOK like ....that these things can really derail someone.
I know lots of young females get eating disorders because of the emphasis on looks. I know at least about five who had problems like anorexia, binge eating and self image and its not something thats easy to deal with. Plus arent men aware that if a woman falls pregnant, thanks to them they WILL swell up like a balloon. So how can they be hypocritcal about looks when they will directly cause a womans weight gain anyway? women dont make men fat. Men cant fall pregant (wothout medical intervention) But men can make women fat because thats what you are when you are pregnant.

I know I can see that conversations are gonna be springing up completely separate from our bantering ..so at some point soon I will prevent anymore comments being added to this post of just tell them to create their own thread to discuss whatever and not on here...
Anyway...those micro (as in size...not that they are microwave).sandwiches will give me the boost I need...changing ladies tyres on the road is hard work..plus maintaining great politeness....so having noodles could be part of my dinner..🍝🍝🍝🍝😊
Anything's possible..me with my trimmed chest wig with glowing teeth whitener,eating miniature sandwiches,....a panda cooking food....I guess hey..why not tmrow in a parental duck for the panda too🐼🐼🦆🦆🦆🤣🤣
