That awkward moment when you're walking through the grocery aisle with your young son, who farts, then LOUDLY says "oh geesh mom, you couldn't wait?" so then everyone around looks at you....
lol. That's hilarious. That reminds me of this time I was going to my Karate class when I was about 10. I was off to the side of a judo matt watching a demonstration and there was this reaaaallly pretty older girl next to me and I had to fart super bad but I didn't want to cut cheese infront of her. The bathroom was occupied so I held it in. I couldn't hold it long and finally with explosive force I let it out.....and out of sheer luck the moment I let it rip was when the instructor was showing another kid how to smack your arm down on the mat to break your fall and the timing was perfect. The loud raaaaaaaawp echoed through the room (it was super loud), everyone thought it was him smacking the mat really hard and everybody was looking at him with wide eyes....like wow, how did that little kid smack that thing so hard? lol

"Oh - just whomever you had your heart set on.........."
In other words...

"Whomever it would delight your heart to show your picture to."

Whom I had my heart set on in what way?
'Oh how I love thee let me count the ways...." or
whom I had my heart set on to give my picture to?
Either. Both. It is your picture. It is your heart. You choose... ;)

:)

That awkward moment when someone looks at you and says, "you'd make such a good mom" and then precedes to tell you about how his kid needs a new mother. And! It was at work...

Just READING this post made me feel awkward... I'm not sure what people are thinking when they say these kinds of things, except about only themselves!!

Those awkward moments when you participate on Christian dating sites and men IM you to complain about their ex-wives... telling you that they didn't want enough sex or weren't experimental enough... and then go on to tell you how pretty they think you are and ask if you're open-minded or tease you about something inappropriate...

EPIC FAIL.

Oh my gosh! People are crazy. Pure and simple. Some people just don't have proper boundaries.

I've had many girls say that I'd make a great dad but they weren't cracking onto me. Poor, Duchess!

Haha! Could be but some don't have kids (but they always seem to be in a serious relationship or married).

lol...I know. Gosh,I remember I used to get that "you'll make a great dad someday" line from all the women in my old church.
I always said,"Ummm..no I won't be,because I'm not really interested in getting married, nor wanting children, and all you Christian women think about is having babies!" lol Well,I did end up getting married eventually, but I was pretty honest about the not wanting kids. (one of the reasons I ended up marrying the woman I did,as she didn't want kids either) I think the women in my church mistook the fact that I loved babies & would always hold them for people or help out in the nursery at church, and yes they seemed to be comfortable with me. I always could get babies to clam down or fall asleep...just a knack, but that doesn't make someone Dad material. LOL Ok..anyhooo..sorry for pulling a Chrissy77 & derailing the thread. lmrooooo (sorry Chrissy, but you said it) hugsssssssssss:D

To be fair, I do love playing around with kids and definitely want to get married and have children but it's just funny that they either think I'm a dad or believe I'll make a great dad. I actually think it's good encouragement but it wouldn't hurt single ladies to say that instead, would it? :)

Well,no that's who you want to hear those words from. Yes,it's nice to hear it from Mom's & Grandmother's or an elder in the Church,whatever...but yeah...it's always nicer when some little cutie-pie who's single & loves Jesus comes up & says that. ( or at least I'd imagine it would be) And btw...you look like you'd be the type to be a riot with kids...I can totally see that. Here's to God bringing you an awesome wife & hopefully some awesome kids one day, dude! :D

Here's the thing, single women are told that if they say that to men, they sound like they are desperate to get married. So it's a catch 22 for you Tintin.
