Moved to the couch this morning because the bed was giving me an ache. There I was contemplating how early or late to come in to work today. I was thinking, "at least, I don't have to take my kid to school," when I realized that it was Wednesday morning and I DID have to take her to school. Still half asleep, I rustle her from bed, telling her that I messed up and that we only have three minutes to get out the door because it's almost 8:00. Then I realized that it was only 6:57.

Glad I don't have to rush, but man! I am out of it! must. have. coffee!

I don't really get Angry Birds. I tell my kids that their being angry all the time doesn't seem very Christlike. Why can't they be "Forgiving Birds?"

"But Dad, there would be no GAME then! - duh!"
You totally Jesus Juked your children, lol :p

This is why we only buy bandaids with angry birds or neon colors. People are going to notice it anyway. It might as well look like you intended for them to.
Misty! Where have you been? I haven't seen you in ages!

I had a morning sort of like that too, except I have to take my kids everyday. Lately my husbands had to be to work by 7 AM. So when he leaves I wake the kids up and get going. This morning my Daughter got up about 6:30 came in my room and was watching MLP, and I was doing some stuff on the computer. It seemed like a nice lazy morning, then my husband came in and said, bye I'm going to work, you know it's 7:30 right? I didn't, so I start moving, tell me daughter to get dressed wake my son up. Then Olivia (Daughter) says, I have to trim my toenails, remember? Oh yeah, do it when you get home. No I want to now. Really? Yes, so I give her the little clippers and ask can I do this for you? No, I want to do it myself, but you have to stay here and help me.

They did make it to school on time, phew.

The same thing that happened a few years ago is starting to happen again. Ugh. I just need to be patient. Hoping this time doesn't turn out like the last time.
Maybe you are being taught to trust through no matter what the outcome. Can you say that in giving up what you want
Father is waiting for us to see to agree and be led from the palm of his hand

Kind of like going to the edge of a cliff, and seeing over it scared, because you are hearing Jump, ans you start reasoning to not Jump, and you keep hearing Jump. Maybe you even Justify why you do not, as in I have been trying hard to do right, not perfect at it, but been good at it, so why Jump

Then You hear yes you are correct if you Jump you would be left to uncontrolled circumstances and would die when hit bottom. true
then there it comes again JUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And we as people hear this over and over give up and let God, yet we never Jump. we start to and just can't

Then we hear this God speaking and says Howard, Jill, Stacy and whomever is listening Jump, and I (GOD) will catch you in the palm of my hand and lead you the rest of your life
Now if I (GOD) where not real, then yes you go to your death physically
But I AM, is speaking as I AM spoke to Moses and Moses believed, even though he had some trouble in this as we all do

JUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Spiritually into Father's hand, thanking Christ as you are got in the palm of Father';s hand
Now Romans 8:28 is a reality, and one is content in all things good or bad, as it appears, when in truth it all works out for the glory of God, which works out for your glory in the long run, you beleive?

Before I accidentally called him a few of those endearments, I told him I would try not to, for that reason.... He knows I'm trying not to; hopefully I won't have to try not to anymore... All depends on if God tells me it's okay (by telling me he's right for me)....
I have come to see this. If I am not at peace about it, then I do not it, until I am prayed through and at peace about it,
Just saying as I think you are already matured in this and seek after the Spirit of God up and beyond the flesh
Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a thousand times over
Giving up what one wants now, for what they know they need in the long run and have already is wise

I don't understand why God allows all the bad stuff to keep happening.
Free choice
Would you want to serve God, if you were forced? I know as I grew up I hated others that forced their wills on me.

We could ask God to take away this free will of those that choose bad
One consequence comes with that prayer. Since God is fair in free will to all, that would mean God would have to take away your free will also

Do you still want that prayer, or has Mercy flooded you as God is Mercy. Just waiting for us to respond in thanksgiving and praise for no one can truly love until they see this type of Love God does have for them, as you are seeing and questioning to know truth. God is teaching us all, that love is what causes mankind to love back eventually

[h=3]Romans 2:4[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]4 [/SUP]Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

Ha ha, i'm friends with a married couple. When Siri first came out, he went to send his wife a text with the voice feature and said something like "I seen your sister at lowes today".....it translated as "I'm in love with your sister".

He seen it sending and was like CRAP!, but he didn't catch it in time....it sent. Then he said "No!, I hate your sister but I love you". It translated as "I love your sister and I hate you". Ha ha ha, he was freaking out when the second one went through.
As is another revelation as to why not to trust this world and man's creations

It's funny that you guys mention spell check... my daughter has an iPhone and she sent me this random text yesterday:

"Sometimes I want to be a dork and misspell words but then I don't want my phone to get bad habits from me. Is this what it's like to be a parent?"

Sacramento can be an interesting town. I am sitti g at a sidewalk cafe and just saw two middle-aged, gay, Ozark hiilbillies swishing along walking a giant gray poodle.

God allows bad thing to happen to see if you'll still praise him, still trust him, and still let him be in control of your life.
When it's all over you'll see the reasons behind what he does

I used to be a vegetarian, I was for over 10 years. I've been eating meat for about 8 years now. I wonder how hard a low carb diet would be for a vegetarian? I hate tofu, even if it's mixed with something, it's gross. I know now there are plenty of high protein veggie things. I don't think soy steak would be very good though.

it's almost impossible to do the low carb - vegetarian thing without being a lacto-ovo vegetarian. i actually get a good deal of my protein from whey protein powder -- not because i don't eat meat, but more out of convenience and choice.

i was a vegan for almost 4 years a number of years ago. i did it for my health, in theory.

however, at the end of that time i was severely anemic, cranky, missing a good part of my muscle mass and 10lbs heavier than my ideal weight.

i'm sure there are people that can do well on a vegan diet. i've just never met any of those people.

p.s. the only way i like tofu is pressed and grilled/fried. or in some kind of a shake with an exorbitant amount of fruit and other things to hide its taste.
