I'm sorry ZT! I hope you feel better soon.
My summer is hot. That's not a good thing. I love Texas...but sometimes I want to go to Alaska.

I only pickled vegetables like celery and radish before. I also did kimchi. Yeah pickles are good. We call pickled egg as salted egg. Very delicious and also good when you combine with other recipes like pasta.

Kimchi! Yum Yum

After many days of sitting out in the hot sun selling watermelons for the pastor's fundraiser I can confidently tell you how to pick a ripe watermelon. Feel the surface of it. The more bumpy the surface is, the riper the watermelon.

Picked the wrong watermelon again :/

I vote that Maka and Lynx start holding classes about how to pick out a good spouse, because obviously they know what one should and shouldn't look for.

Kind of like this couple:

Well rats.

It's from "When Harry Met Sally", and the woman says she "just knew" about her future husband being the right one... "the way you know about a good melon."

A classic piece of romantic advice.

Aha!! Finally got it that time!! :D

Apparently, that didn't stop her from taking him home.

Maybe in this case, a hollow head is seen as a desirable trait.

Note to self: (If I can't find a husband... try going after a melon farmer.)

He just might have lower standards, which in turn, would certainly up my chances a bit.

Thanks! I'll know next time! The one I bought was smooth and flavourless.

I now have one more pet, but thankfully he prefers the outdoors.

I nearly slammed the door into a sealgull when I opened it. It then jumped sideways a few times, and stopped, eyeing me suspiciously , but once I gave it some bread it eventually decided I wasn't that dangerous after all

What kind of dancing do you do? :)
Uhh, the kind where I dance alone in front of a mirror to make sure I don't look like a complete dork and then go to the dance floor and look like a complete dork. Just your standard issue "I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing" dancing.

Haha.

Actually dancing by yourself in front of the mirror is great because hip hop really incorporates a lot of freestyle. It can be a lot more fun than other dance forms because there is so much of individuality possible in this.

When I was growing up, I trained in kuchipudi, an ancient Indian classical dance form under a Padma Shri award winning dancer.
It was very strict and I often didn't enjoy it as much as I enjoy dancing now with hip hop and Latin dances.

So basically have fun with what you do and bust those moves on the dance floor like nobody's business! :)
