I waited for ages for where I live in Maine to get a Quiznos. Then one glorious day it happened. We got one! It came & went in less than a year. No one ate there. I think My ex-wife & I single handedly kept that place in business for the year it was open.
Maybe it was the $8 for a small sub that people didn't like. I dunno. Mainers love their SubWay. Ugh...*shivers* I'm with Arwen 100% on detesting (may I use detesting?) SubWay & their lame idea of "healthy" food.
Besides...watch ads with a former fatty? Or watch crazy wacky ads with kittens,explosions & heavy metal music???

Today...I will win a war with a fake Christmas tree. I will fight, tooth and nail, to make it look less fake. I will tackle it and bind it up in strings of lights and ribbons. I will poke at it with the sharp end of ornament hooks. And I will cover its feet with a glittery white skirt so it can't walk away and escape...
And then I'll photograph it and use it as blackmail for next year, to ensure better cooperation with my evil schemes.

And...I dunno, lack of um...time? No...lack of...ambition? Yes! I have no ambition! I'd rather be painting things or making stuff glittery or conversatin' with obnoxious deer.

While I may, in fact, have those three things...my biggest issue with writing stuff is actually just that I'm lazy.
Like right now, I'm contemplating if I could skip having to move any furniture to make room for the tree, and just set the tree up in the middle of the room. Or put it outside on the porch where there's a lot of space.
Cuz I don't wanna like...DO...anything.
Ok, so, that's all true, but I know what's gonna happen- here in a little while, I'll get blindsided by a huge dose of Christmas spirit, and start re-arranging like there's no tomorrow, and the tree will go up in front of the window, and I'll be all sorts of productive...and that's annoying.

I feel like MissCriss when it comes to decorating. I put it off then I get in a mood to decorate. I'm never in a mood to shop on Black Friday, so I don't. I don't even go near the main shopping drag on black friday, actually we usually don't leave the house on black Friday, except we walked over to the bank today, it's right across the street. Since that time we've been watching Garfield and My Little Pony. This is a good day. My hair is dirty. I wore pajama pants to the bank. The kids got suckers at the bank. I have no make up on. If anyone shows up at my door they'll be shocked at what answers, but I don't care. Merry Christmas!
