Yes, absolutely I have been perceived wrongly. I have pm'd lots of folks messages of encouragement or prayers for them, pictures to inspire them when I read comments about their struggles. I pm them because I don't want to make a big deal in public like I'm Mother Teresa (heehee) and sometimes because maybe they don't want you to make a fuss over them in public. So I try to use wisdom and discretion.
I have had at least a handful who did not respond to my pm and a few who made it clear they didn't want me to pm them anymore. Perhaps they perceived me as weird or intrusive. That's perfectly ok. They have that right and I must respect them for it. So I leave them be and trust God for His work in their lives.
I don't have to get upset that they took me wrong. God will vindicate my life in the forums and prove I'm genuine so I'm not concerned about it. But if someone feels uncomfortable and doesn't want me to message them, I'd be an ignorant fool to get upset at them. Nobody should intrude on people and violate their personal space.
It's the internet, where 99% of it is worthless garbage and littered with scammers, pervs and hackers. Praise God most CC members have the wisdom not to get taken in by weirdoes.

I seriously considered calling in sick today. I even had my sick voice all prepared, and was about to make the call when I realized...
I...I don't have a job.
And then I realized that I kind of Do have a job, and that it doesn't allow for sick days, and then I got overwhelmed and panicky and thought I could use a vacation...but I kinda just had one.
I really gotta get back into some kind of routine or this will just keep happening. It would probably help if I had anything to look forward to...and maybe that sounds really awful, because everything is really pretty good here, so what's the problem?
I think...well, I think the problem is Me. I feel like I'm staring down a very long stretch of very straight road, and it's...just...boring. And that's scary.

But! I Am actually learning...I'm better at recognizing the signs now. Better equipped to prevent what usually follows this feeling. So...if I can just hold onto that, I dunno, maybe this doesn't have to be a train wreck.

so while my sister and her boys are out of town, during my lunch break, i go to the house to check on the cat and dog. yesterday and today, the cat was uber affectionate with me, which i believe she's saying she misses her owner.
but she's starting to grow on me.

I'm having a good day. I'm kind-of excited, I've got a new bread recipe raising and then I'll do my first bake with it. The dough smells SO GOOD.
If it works, I'll be making hamburger/sandwich buns for my market.... and I am really excited about that too. Guys, I'm slowly turning this business into what I really wanted. Still have a few things to figure out, but one step at a time, right? :bliss:
