I don't have any idea what to do with this call week. Well, no, I have a ton of ideas, but I don't think I'm allowed. Um, to carry them out, not to have them. Because my ideas tend to involve a lot of changing stuff. *sigh* Be quiet, brain.

I also have that post-vacation deflated feeling. I spent so much time waiting and preparing to get on the road, and then we were constantly busy once we got out of here, and now that I'm back home, and starting a week with just me and my kids here...there's a lot of "Now what?" feeling going on.

Plus, my mother-in-law tackled all the mundane projects I had left behind and planned to get done before winter...and she got it all done in less than a week. I'm not sure which is more irritating- that now I have nothing to do, or that she accomplished these things in a fraction of the time it was going to take me.

...I don't actually ever mean I have Nothing to do. There's always something that needs done. I just don't want to do Those things.

Because I'm being a shiner. <--- NO autocorrect! I am Not being a shiner, I'm being a Whiner.

Right, enough of this. Let's see how much I can get done this week...ready, set...oh wait, I should finish this cup of coffee.

Ok, go!
Me, I mean.
...like I had to explain that...
For real this time, go!

Even though Anniversary of Hiroshima has passed. Japanese people sincerely wish Japan will be the first and last country which was A-bombed.

Oh Mia
I thought about this for the anniversaries of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It must have been such a privilege to share with Japanese people that sobering day. Can any of us today honestly believe that nuclear weaponry is a solution to diplomatic failures. Yet these weapons still exist in prolific amounts in the United States, Russia, United Kingdom, France, China, India, Pakistan, Israel and North Korea. Although the USA is the only nation to use nuclear weapons, I'm one world citizen that would feel safer if there were no nuclear weapons left in this world.

It was a very somber experience. Knowing some people still experience the radiations and injuries, not only physically, emotionally and mentally, it has a lasting result on the country. Yet the people here, are respectful, peaceful and wish this happens to no other countries ever, ever again.

Thank you Zoii. *hugs*

Everybody's response anymore is "I should sue you!" So many responses to that, so little legal protection.

Third day I'm up at 4am if this continues I could play a zombie on the walking dead with no makeup needed.

You know you have it bad when sleep becomes but a dream
When it happens to me, I get up, eat something little (slice of cheese, spoon of peanut butter) and a small drink of water. Sometimes I need to cool off to go back to sleep too... But no lights on.

i go back to sleep pretty easily usually. And then that afternoon I allow myself a 30 minute nap. It seems to help

As they say, the winners write the history books. Another event that is seldom talked about is the destruction and mass murdering of German cities during WWII by the British, with the aid of the US. And I'd say the worst was the atrocities committed by the Soviets, who were financially supported and supplied weaponry by the US during that time. Blind patriotism is foolishness. I especially can't see how Christians follow these leaders when the Bible clearly says Satan is the god of this world and the ones in charge are obviously also Satanic. Although, I guess part of the reason is because they changed a few verses in the newer translation Bibles to say that our government leaders are put there by God. Read KJV people! Stop trying to justify evil!

Oh, and by the way, they say that Nagasaki had the most Christians in all of Japan at that time. There was nothing strategic about that location and so it makes me wonder if the devil did that on purpose to plunge that country back into spiritual confusion. Sad...

It's so odd to see people who have a heart for ministry, but they don't know Jesus. So while they do great things in the world, the fact still remains - they don't know Jesus. It's mind boggling and heart breaking.

I almost feel bad. It's so chilly in my house that my toes are cold. Temp outside right now is 66*. It's a chilly summer day - overcast and the heat from the valley is drawing the marine layer. :)

It is beautiful where you are Olerica. How lovely that sea shore must be at night under the stars.
I am praying for you dearest.
May your evening be as beautiful as your spirit.

My mind is playing tricks on me again. It's been one of Those days. On the bright side, though, it can't get worse, yeah?

...that's not a challenge, either, Day...so don't be getting any ideas.
