Well I think I had a first last night. I had a dream that made me laugh so hard I woke myself up. That's not normal for me, does that happen to other people? (No I don't really remember the dream, just something about watching a play and then needing to leave in the middle of the play but I had to go through the stage and kept getting in the way of the actors but eventually the situation got so absurd that I just started laughing) Is it possible to be so tired while you're sleeping that you laugh hysterically at your dreams for no good reason? Of course the downside is that I woke up laughing at about 4 AM and had a hard time getting any more sleep after that.

Well I had to troubleshoot my mom's computer over Skype yesterday. She's probably about average in her computer skills (i.e. knows how to do basic tasks with certain programs using their default settings, but has no clue what to do when something changes or messes up), but it still seems like she knows nothing at times.

But it's going to be an epic time!

Same here, I thought his name was actually M&M and when people said Eminem they were just being funny.

Also it took me about 7 years to learn how to spell and pronounce the band 3OH!3.

Weird evening.

First, I went outside, barefoot, to move the sprinkler- but it was dark already, and I wasn't about to carry a flashlight and be a bug beacon thankyouverymuch. Welllll. I stepped into something that was kind of hard, but also squished and crunched under my foot. The thing was almost the length of my foot and kinda wrapped around it, sorta like a shoe, but an unpleasant one. I managed not to panic, and leaned down to try to see what it was.

It was totally looking right at me.

I miiight have panicked then, because I was wearing the outer shell (feathers, some bones, head) of a dead bird. I was wearing a bird shoe. ON. MY. FOOT. (Emphasized in case anyone wasn't sure where shoes normally go...?). So yeah. That happened, courtesy of the kittybeast who was stabbing me the other night. Her threats are getting more serious.

Right, I can't stress this enough- Dead. Bird. Shoe.

So that was...well, horrible, but I'm sure it will be funny when I stop feeling so horrified.

...I was going to share the other weird stuff that happened tonight, but to be honest, I'm feeling quite traumatized enough just reliving that whole episode.

I totally laughed, but if it was me, I would probably have screamed as though I was being assaulted. Which you were. By a dead bird carcass. Horrifyingly funny.

I have woken myself up laughing before (twice in my life, but both times were in the same night) and I sometimes feel the same when I'm helping someone with a computer. Especially when I hit the "Antivirus? Well there was this trial of (insert popular antivirus) but it expired..."

MissChris: The cat left a dead bird? That's odd... birds were the only things my cat would eat. She left mice, rats, moles, squirrels, rabbits, but a bird she would eat everything of but the feathers. And I mean *everything* but the feathers. Maybe it's a matter of taste - does your cat kill anything else that it eats, and just doesn't like birds for some reason?

This particular cat normally eats the whole bird, but sometimes she'll leave them sitting on the porch a while first. I think just to make sure someone sees that she's doing her job (or else she actually IS threatening my life...cats...you just never know). Anyway, she does eat everything she kills, but sometimes it takes her a while. And then I get to step on/in it. Yay...

Father's Day BBQ at church. Bring a dish to pass. Sigh. Up at 8 to get *something* to make. Oh!! Greek salad!

I buy a bunch of veggies and some greens... chop all the veggies, there is no room for greens. So... Greek chopped veggie salad! WOOT.

Wow I need a nap and it's barely 9:00.
