Attention all health food (or just people with an opinion) people! I have a question.
When I have a migraine sometimes I'm down for days. I get dehydrated, my glucose numbers go nuts, I can't eat properly, I'm incapacitated so I can't inject insulin, it's a mess. My doctor is aware of all this, and I've gone to the hospital once before. I've had a good couple of months, but this week has been really rough. When I'm down I live off ginger ale, which I know isn't the best, but it has calories and sugar. However, I bought some Gatorade at the store today. Was that smart? Is there a better option?
I can have sugar even though I inject. I take both pills and insulin; I'm technically a type 2. Actually, I take more pills than insulin. I changed my dosing. I should inform my doctor.
Anyway! What's your opinion, healthy people?
