emmy, i've tried every means i know how to get a hold of you over the last 24 hours.

we are very concerned about you, and would really appreciate it if you would please get in touch with me (or someone else here) and let us know how you are.

i know many of us are thinking of you, praying for you.

i pray that you are finding solace and comfort in Him, despite this storm. even during the dark times, He is always with you.

you are His beloved daughter, and have have not been forgotten or left out--in spite of your struggles. He has great plans for you emmy!

and, of course, you remain close to us, in our hearts. *hugs*

i've heard from emmy, and she is ok, but please continue to keep her in prayer. she continues to be in a difficult and painful set of circumstances. she especially needs prayer for her emotional and physical health.

thanks.

Thank you, Gypsy. We've been very worried for Emily too. She's in our prayers.

God. I am amazed. In suffering and pain you are there. Those who have died in your name, have not died in vein. All of humanity is witnessing. People are coming together- from different cultures and faiths. Lord, I was once told that the greatest testimony has been of those that have been persecuted under your name. People are drawn to you and drawn to peace. That these people are willing to die for their faith, rather than renounce you. Everything is for your glory. The world is speaking about these sufferings, as drops in water they spread, faith gets stronger more people get to know your love. People will return to you. You will not be shamed. We are witnessing you working in the world right now. We are witnessing your power.

So, you love Arlene because she's about to become unemployed? :p;)
Haha! Once, you're such a goober. Love you, brother. :) No, I love her dancing violin playing and how she jumps upon chairs/tables antics and regals children with godly music. :) I so wish I could've seen her do it in the flesh.

I drive my kids to school in the morning. I've noticed this little girl who seems to get there the same time we do. I think she's in Kindergarten and she's always crying. It's really heartbreaking. I'm sure it's first week jitters and it will get better, but I want to give her a big hug. Of course I can't do that, but it would be so hard if I were her parent to pull away.

Today as I pulled away I prayed that she would have a good day and feel better about school.

It took about 4.5 hours for my video to be at 70% uploaded and then my computer decides to restart itself without asking me so all of that progress was lost.

*Flips table*

I guess it will just have to upload overnight.
I can relate. Treat it as mastering patience. It will do good for you. :) Happy uploading and being up overnight! lol

My best friend was in sin and I'm the last person to know. I'm sad for her.
My best friend and I had a deep talk earlier about her struggle. She is married yet not legally separated. She admitted before me she's in a relationship with a married man. She wanted to repent and be restored. I admired her having courage to tell me, but I will admire her more if she will stand firm for her decision to repent. I told her she needs to do a radical action. We don't demand for the things we have deserved, rather we waited for them. If we deserved death and punishment, do we demand on them? Of course not! So it is in doing good and being godly. It's all a matter of grace. An outrageous GRACE of God!

Romans 8:35- 39

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

What a wonderful thought.

Joyful thoughts...
[h=1]Psalm 119 New Living Translation (NLT)[/h][h=3]Psalm 119[a][/h][h=4]Aleph[/h]1 Joyful are people of integrity,
who follow the instructions of the Lord.
2 Joyful are those who obey his laws
and search for him with all their hearts.
3 They do not compromise with evil,
and they walk only in his paths.
4 You have charged us
to keep your commandments carefully.
5 Oh, that my actions would consistently
reflect your decrees!
6 Then I will not be ashamed
when I compare my life with your commands.
7 As I learn your righteous regulations,
I will thank you by living as I should!
8 I will obey your decrees.
Please don’t give up on me!

Before logging out, my thoughts for my beloved.

It's hot here today. I had my Husband empty our pool yesterday, it was gross. It had a hole in the top that I couldn't find it, so the cover made it worse. I pumped it with air all the time. Eventually I stopped putting the cover on. Then the filter would only work off and on. It became a pain to keep it going. We are going to get a different pool for next summer. We were supposed to get a bigger one this year, but it was way to big for our yard. It would've been nice to have a pool today, oh well.

Our old house had an inground pool. It was so amazingly refreshing on super hot days. I miss it. But I sure don't miss keeping it clean.

It can be a pain, this one was only 4 ft deep so it was pretty simple to clean. I would like to invest in a bigger pool next summer, I will have to buy a vacuum for it. Wal-Mart has all that stuff now so that's good.

After school my Daughter told me that she saw the little girl crying at car pool today. She told me that it makes her sad. They have to stay with their classes so she can't leave and go talk to her. I told her if you are ever around her just be really nice and try to make her feel comfortable.

I did want to add one thing to this, Arwen. Even if nobody other than the persecutors knew what the tormented went through for the cause of Christ, it still wouldn't be in vain. Jesus sees every thing we give up for Him, whether it's friendships, a better job, unscarred skin, a relationship that isn't quite right, a comfortable life, or anything else that may come our way. He appreciates more than we can imagine; I truly believe that. Like you said, in suffering and pain, He is there :').
