withdrawing from abilify is really not very easy. please pray for me.
terrible migraines and nausea, mood swings, sometimes crippling anxiety, dizziness, getting really freaked out about things... paranoia.
doctors don't even seem to know this. no one does, but for those who've gone through it it seems. there are some warnings but it's a fairly new drug and, um yeah. they do warn you about mental issues and instability but there is not a clear outline of the entire list of symptoms at all or enough information.
i knew this would be hard, but i'm just through two months and debilitating symptoms persist. it's a scary roller coaster.
i really don't want to be medicated and i'm counting on God to pull me through.
i went cold-turkey from 20mg to 0. some people take 9 months to a year to titrate off of 5mg or less and still have severe withdrawal symptoms.
it takes up to a month to flush out of your system and up to three months to have a chance for brain chemistry to balance.
no one told me this. told doctor at week two that i seemed fine and she wasn't worried. thought i'd made it through. turns out the stuff wasn't even fully out of my system. she had no knowledge.
this is a serious drug.

At what age does the maturity waiver expire?
In other news, got an email last night totally changing details on a project I am working on. Nothing like doubling the amount of channels to setup. Not to mention all the extra things to worry about now. *sigh*
