I need a cottage industry

Writing I can do at home though, it doesnt pay. Yet. Maybe if I became a hack, it would.

Apparently Im supoosed to look after the house now and everyone elses while they are at work.

I hate this housework thing where you are supposed to do clean up everyone elses mess for no pay. I didnt sign up for this! Also, I havent been trained on the domestic arts.

All I know how to do is tidy up after myself, not make everyone elses beds and draw their curtains and clean their rooms and put their washing away and go to trawling the supermarket for groceries. Besides, I have other very important things to do, like read books.

in lockdowns I did a lot of work on computer at home but I cant do that ALL the time.

I realised you can just sit there for hours typing away and not get fresh air or see anybody. i mean its great that I do have a computer, if I didnt I would just be writing things down in little booklets I suppose.

One job I had was all done on computer (writing CVs) until my computer seized up and didnt want to work anymore. lol

stuff to do at home, redecorate, have a party then have home and lifestyle magazines come take photos of it and then put it in the market for sale.

Then go travelling around the world and be like a homeless person.

housework

here is what I did

put new curtains in
washed dishes and put them away
lined kitchen cupboards
vaccumed floors
made beds
watered plants
did laundry
cook breakfast, lunch and tea

I am so bored. It is never ending. On rainy days you cant go outside. Also, if I try to tidy up other peoples things or rearrange the room, I get the third degree.

Very nice.
I'm actually at work today cos they're doing a Wi-Fi upgrade but i came in with some coffee, listened to some church music and now we're thinking about lunch.

On an average day though it's all about drinking coffee and talking about stuff. This is what we do in America in office settings. We talk a lot but nobody does anything.

But yes i am and continue to be grateful for everything and make the best of everything with the people i interact with.

working in some offices is extremely boring! Ive worked in windowless offices before, not fun, and everyone there has been addicted to coffee, while the boss plays his own radio/music that hurts everyone elses ears

Im hoping to adopt a cat today lol

Jesus told Mary that she did the better part by listening to Him rather than do ALL the housework like Martha did

I have found out there is so much stuff in the house that never gets used and the landfill pile is going to be higher than the house.

My parents subscribed to typical worldy suburban living which means a house with lots of treasures that get moth eaten and decayed. Though thankfully nobody would really want to burgle their stuff. Unless burglars really want heaps of jars of dried black beans from china and vinyl records from the usa

I don't think Jesus was suggesting there is never a time for chores; rather, when He is present isn't the time.

Jesus is around all the time, hes very welcome in my room and the bathroom, and the garden, bit other places are a bit offlimits.

Sometimes libraries dont want Jesus. I have to ask permission from the Principal to have a Bible in there apparently

I am not used to asking permission for every little thing. I just tell someone I am doing something because otherwise I would have to ask everytime I wanted to go to the toilet.

Another example is in the discourse between the Pharisees and Jesus when He was asked why his disciples didn't fast. He told them because the bridegroom was still presently with them.
