That opening always reminds me of this song by Yo La Tengo:

Not painful, but quite sad, evocative. Reminds me of my first attempts at poetry.

Inevitably brings Mazzy Starr to mind; Take Everything.

Yeah. Unrequited love is painful

My “relationship” with music isn’t like the majority. I love a good song and especially if it holds meaning, but I’m not someone that listens to music that often.

However, I tend to find myself crying during songs that are filled with emotion or that I heard at an emotional time. I can think of two songs that make me cry every time I hear them. They are both from a show or movie, which I enjoyed, but they came at times when I connected with both. (I didn’t listen to these links, so I apologize for some possible language. 😬)

I tend to stick to Christian music these days, when I do listen. Any song can make me cry depending on what’s going on in life or what the Lord may be showing me.

I tend to avoid things that make me sad, but on occasion a good cry is needed.

Why wolves? Do you like them?
The music was to slow
I take it you've never seen the Twin Peaks show? The music is really iconic with the show. It's a mysterious and a quirky series.

Not sure why the video has wolves, but I think it works with the music... winter scenes and wolves... kind of has a stark feel to it.
