Sorry that I have not been very active with my posts as of late.
Still working part-time as I am semi-retired but even a 4-day work week often leaves me feeling drained. Spring and Summer are busy months for me too as I now have to cut the grass on a regular basis, prepare ground for veggies, etc.
Just completed the cataracts surgery for both eyes. Had the right one done a couple weeks ago and today the left one. Still need a follow-up with the optometrist to check for healing and for writing a new prescription for glasses.
Getting old can be a hard process but I do thank God that I have still remained active and able to accomplish the work that the Father has prepared for me to accomplish beforehand.
All in all, it's not so bad if you think about it.

Finally, after living in Tennessee for over 3 1/2 years I turned in my Florida drivers license and received a Tennessee one.
I have been very anxious about this as my eyesight has not been the best but my recent cataract surgery greatly improved my vision and was able to pass the eye exam easily.
I depend on driving for almost every thing, and since there is no mass transit to speak of in the small town that I live, getting to work, bill paying, grocery shopping, would have been problematic.
It was a load off my mine for sure as I walked out of the DMV. Only took an hour too. In Florida in would have taken hours. Life is good again and things are looking up.
