We had a few chickens and a large rabbit when I was a kid. The chickens were ours but the people across the road gave us the rabbit. Every day just before dark he would round up the chickens and chase them back into their pen so that they were not roaming around too late. They hated him because they were not ready to go to sleep yet but he insisted that they be safe and tucked away from any stray cats.:LOL:
