Honestly, don’t you dare change for nobody just cause they have an opinion on you.

For those of us who actually know you on a deeper level, we know your pure intentions and the last thing I want to see is you feeling this way all because someone feels differently.

Love you sis.
Couldn’t have said it better myself.

Wise words, Mel85.

@seoulsearch, just be you and don’t pay attention to people digging for dirt🥰.

When I first read this I thought it said they have an "option on you" :giggle: I thought wow, you can get options??! Then I re read it and it's not options at all ha ha. It's onions. Which is still kinda weird. But whatever. Cultural thing I guess.

Well said... you be you! I also see pure intentions and just because someone thinks differently doesn’t mean you have to change... they might have to change their interpretation... or just say talk to the 🤚🏻. Ha kidding :) There are times for constructive criticism and this is not one of those times.

I prefer a style and hue that suits his face and lifestyle. I’m not a fan of facial hair and will choose a clean shaven man every time. As long as he attends to his appearance and takes care of himself we’re good.

This was a really interesting thread to read.

And @seoulsearch - you are a beautiful, intelligent, godly, and amazing woman. Whatever the condition of your hair, I have no doubt that the right man for you will love you and cherish you just as you are. So please don't worry about your hair. Really.

As for me, I have an interesting experience with this topic.

Before I got saved, I was very into long hair on men. Like that would always draw my attention in a big way and I would frequently have crushes on guys with long, straight hair (especially musicians, lol).

But then when I got saved, that changed, and I stopped being attracted to long hair on men. It even started to seem a little inappropriate. Which to me, confirms the Bible verse that Ben shared about how it's a shame unto a man to have long hair, and a glory for a woman to have hers long.

So currently my personal preference is for them to have hair, but the length or style doesn't really matter as long as it looks good on them. If it's long but they really love it and it looks good on them, I think I would be fine with it (but I am not certain).
As a general rule though, I'm not a big fan of "modern" styles with shaved sides, etc. and I also don't really like dreads.

I have a strong preference when it comes to color though -- dark brown. Ginger hair on men on the other hand, feels literally incestuous lol (I'm a ginger myself).

As for facial hair, it's a definite plus. I find mustaches very attractive. A short, trimmed beard can be nice, too.

tfw my future husband has none of the above lol

My preference is clean cut hair with a groomed beard.
