John, I have a bean to cup coffee machine but why does my coffee seems to be less 'creamy' than a commercial coffee machine? Do you think it could be that I am grinding the beans on the incorrect size?
Well....there's a lot of variables.
Beans, roast, grind, and water temp.

The grind can and will affect the flavor. Usually by making the coffee "lighter" in flavor. If The coffee always seems to be too light instead of rich....go finer.

It sounds like you have an "all in one" fully automatic machine.
I'm not so much a fan of those. They sound great in theory and the cost of them makes a consumer believe they can pull off great coffee....
However I can usually do better with nothing more than a blender style grinder (the worst type) and a V-60 with a gooseneck teapot for the hot water.
And I do this half awake....

Good, creamy rich coffee is a lot of little things, each done to precision, to produce superior results.

I can take $6/lb coffee and hand someone else $16/lb coffee and make a better cup of coffee than they can. Those little details matter that much. (Of course $6/lb coffee is OK but it isn't really great)

Coffee ground size needs to be uniform and small particles to extract everything....that small bit of foam in espresso is high in carbon dioxide which is bitter. But the bubbles pop quick.

If the grinds are too fine water can't get through....and it "tunnels " through the coffee. Missing most of the coffee as it travels through the puck. Again making it too light.

Just the right, uniform and polished puck of coffee with the right amount of pressure to compact it for your machine will do the trick usually.

A LA Marzocco machine will have a higher pressure of water that can help a lot. But $22k is a lot of money.

Your Starbucks takes a institutional type harvested bean (machine picked instead of hand) without a lot of unique flavor and blast dries them then roasts most of the flavor out of the beans. (Burnt tire) and then grinds and serves the finished coffee....not a lot of unique flavor, smell. But it's consistent.
Whataya mean MY Starbucks? No bleeping way I have anything to do with that! :p

(I know you were speaking colloquially, as in, "Now take your local Starbucks, for example." But even I, a non-coffee-drinker, know to avoid that place and I want to make certain nobody thinks I'm associated with it.)

I have seen the LA Marzocco machines and almost bought myself one the other day but was thinking $2000 is too much money for a second hand machine... and to be fair it is only me that will use it. Maybe if I could grow my business I can "treat my clients" to a nice cup of coffee :)

I think I am close to the best cup of coffee with my bean to cup machine but will try to make the grind a bit finer. Maybe it will become a bit more creamier.

It could need to go smaller but it could need to go bigger too. Also depending on how much it's used the grinders could be getting dull. Or maybe a pre-infusion might help.

The la marzocco with the three group heads is as small as you really want to go with those. (Water tank and separate steam tank) Then it needs to be serviced.....and a water line with special filters needs to be run to it. Those machines need at least 208 volts to run. But they make great steam for the milk and never seem to run out of hot water.

In addition to the puck preparation for espresso it's a time/volume thing. That's the goal. You want a specific volume of finished espresso in a specific amount of time for a 17-22 gram dose of ground coffee.

Which is where a true barrista comes into play. He works his machine, the coffee grinders, the puck, the pressure, the water temp and then foaming the milk just right so he can make a pretty picture on the top of the cup.

A GOOD barrista can make $30/hr in a prime location coffee shop. These aren't the button pushing types of barristas Starbucks is spitting out. (The have fully automatic machines too these days).

But one with paddles or snap switches and can make pretty art on the top of the cup.

For one thing you cannot really tell my son is autistic. But he is very hyper. I assume they are being rude to my son because they have no manners. I do school them in politeness. Because God does not want us to be a doormat. I just use wisdom , carry on.
So does your son being autistic make you worried in some different way, in your view? Do you know why you include that in your descriptor of your son in this first telling?

That was totally uncalled for...
Good idea. The cheese would do it. Chasing a grain of rice around with the point of a knife is hard work. Just ask me 😐

I just said his condition because of the post I was responding too.

Well, there's not really any reason to be hate-filled about people who are picking on the obviously disabled, since anyone who needs to do this is clearly in the hosts of hell routinely. But I do understand it being sad and frustrating, since the disabled don't always know they're in someone's way, and it's hardly reasonable to attempt to degrade.

On the thread topic, my frustration at the moment is for those who claim "mental health professions" who prescribe pharmaceutical drugs for which nobody can explain the function. This is the height of arrogance, to threaten the body of another person with a random chemical, while claiming doing them good, simply because the recipient of "care" is made too addled to have volition.

Further, if the mind really is just a physical entity for our personalities and actions, then why aren't our "mental health professionals" doing MRI scans First?

I never said I was hateful to anyone some assume I am. I said it fluffed my fur. I do school them on manners.Never said I was rude to them. I am not sure on what medications people are on. We go for all natural things. My son is not on medication. Some seem to find fault in what others say instead perhaps move on. I do think you need to speak up and not be a doormat. Jesus was angry and sinned not. So is the justification of speaking up for those who cannot. If it doesn't bother people that someone is nasty to someone who cannot defend themselves I wonder what is wrong with them. Jesus stood up for those who could not stand up for themselves. For me it is WWJD.
I think sadly that is what is wrong with some Christians today they do not say anything. Think it is someone else's problem or afraid to step on someones toes. But we are to give the truth in love. All needs to have instructions given to them, other wise they will not know. If we do not give the truth in love or correct them. They will or may go on thinking it is ok to be like that. Their blood are on our hands.
Ezekiel 3:18
King James Version

18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
But we can agree to disagree. But never assume .

I'm not assuming that at all. I'm speaking against my own tendencies.

Rudeness, coldness and especially arrogance, grrrrrr..visions of me with a bat pops in my brain when I encounter it, especially if I witness it to another.... I know that is not the correct response, so clearly I too have work to do too, lol.

See....
This is how stress is formed.

When your mind overrides your body's instinctual desire to choke the stuffing out of a Karen that desperately needs it....it causes stress.

As I said in my initial response on this thread, what gets my goat is INJUSTICE. Whenever I encounter the same, I'm compelled to say or do something.

As far as apwall21 is concerned, although I'm definitely NOT seeking to justify the manner in which he has said certain things, you might want to check out this thread to see what he is presently dealing with/going through:
