The almost tasteless part is a plus! Haha. I mean, it certainly does not taste bad ;)

But still very nutritious :D That is the plus (y)Plus, low carbs and calories :)

Zucchini prepared some ways can make it watery. Ugh. Yeah. That is a turn off :censored::cry:

PS~ perplexed + repugnance + people + portray + pizza = onomatopoeia ;)
I get what you're saying, but it still reminds me of boogers.

When it is straight-up baked, it is not like that at all. Not that I would know what boogers are like to eat :devilish::ROFL::whistle:

My mom's zucchini was always of the mushy variety.

Anyhow, I'd eat zucchini, but I'd rather face a firing squad than to eat beets.

Just saying that word made my stomach turn.

Well, I've almost reached the city...

Zucchini is one of those things people always plant in the garden and are surprised at how much the plants produce. Then they try to give them away at church and to coworkers. Then they resort to leaving baskets of the stuff on doorsteps and sneaking away.

Next year it's like they forgot all about it, and they plant the same amount again.

You people are sick. You've taken a beautiful, almost heavenly thing like pizza and perverted it to the point of... sacrilege.

Pineapple... salami... seeds... Just remove the cheese and crust and sauce and let's still call it a pizza! It's almost as if... you want to give the pizza its own... personal truth, like a trans-food pizza! Oh, I'm a carrot, but I identify as a pizza!

No wonder the world's going down the tubes.

I've eaten pizza with pineapple on it before (normally with chicken as an additional topping), and I like it a lot.

I've never even heard of anyone putting salami on a pizza before, and I'm half Italian, and I've eaten a lot of salami over the years.

Anyhow, salami and pineapple...?

I guess that would work, but salami and green olives sounds a little bit better to me.
We tend to call spicy peperoni salami here (or maybe I just do, I dont know) but the combination is yummy on pizza.

Pepperoni I could get behind. All this other weird, blasphemous stuff... h-e-double hockey sticks to the NO!

The idea is that the pineapple is sweet against the saltiness of the cheese and pepperoni.
Like salted caramel, salty and sweet.

YYYEEEEYYYYYYAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Okay, maybe I'm being just a tad melodramatic, but that ain't working for me. I love Italian food, and pineapples just don't fit into that.

Anyhow, I have a soft spot in my heart for love, in general.

Although it's escaped me, I'm literally moved to tears when I see it genuinely displayed in other people's lives.

Probably not the type of answer that you'd expect from a bear, but I'm not your average bear.
Im not sure if im sad i dont get that or not, because i see it so often. Id be in tears too much.

you should try it. I like the barbeque chicken with pineapple myself. Im not a big fan of pineapple on pizza outside of that, unless its a very thick juicy and spicey pizza, then maybe.

The main difference between pepperoni and salami is that pepperoni has
a spicier flavor than salami. This is because pepperoni contains spices like
paprika, cayenne pepper, and chili pepper. Some say salami is spicier

Pepperoni and salami are cured sausage made from pork and beef. There are
many similarities between the two because pepperoni is a type of salami :)
Salami has its origins in Italy, and pepperoni is an American invention. It is
finer grained and softer than salami, and generally has less sodium, also :D
Another difference between these two sausages is how they’re cooked. Salami
is typically smoked, then dried before being cut into slices, whereas pepperoni
is traditionally grilled, then baked until crispy. This may be the kicker:

Salami is made from pigs' heads :oops::censored::LOL::geek::giggle:

If pizza is made correctly, as in da Bronx, it needs nothing else.

I like the salty and sweet contrast.

When it comes to saltiness on a pizza, I normally lean more towards green olives (most pizzerias just have black olives out here) or anchovies.

Yes, I like anchovies (a lot of people don't).

When it comes to just a traditional pizza, I still maintain that Pizzaland in Kearny/North Arlington (it's on the border), NJ has the best pizza ever...assuming that they're still even open.

I don't know exactly what they put in their sauce as far as spices are concerned, but I'm convinced that fart powder is in there somewhere...lol.

I won't elaborate...

I grew up on Italian food. My mother was born and raised in Naples, and she and my father met when he was stationed in Italy as a member of the US Army during WWII.

Anyhow, she never included pineapple in any of her Italian dishes, but she did use pineapple when making a glazed ham.

That's probably the only time that I ate pineapple as a child, but I've grown to love it as an adult...and that includes loving it atop a pizza.

I don't dislike pepperoni, but it's probably one of my least favorite toppings on a pizza. Salami, especially Genoa salami, on top of a pizza sounds interesting, but I've never had it.
