Most public schools cover this in sex ed.

A "wet dream" is properly known as a nocturnal emission. It is when a man ejaculates while he is asleep. It is most commonly associated with having a dream with sexual content.

The post pubescent male body continuously produces sperm and ejaculate material throughout his life and if it is not released routinely through sexual activity, the body naturally releases excess.
