Friend says her daughter has exams, not keen on going and the motels are booked up. Arrgh.
I know if you want to do anything extra specially fun you have to plan far ahead to go anywhere.

Unless you just turn up somewhere and drive round for vacancy signs, which is what my dad did one holiday he had no clue how to ring ahead and book rooms. This was before internet but still.

Mum surprised me and asked I look up how much it costs to go set foot on a live island volcano.

She wasnt keen on a tree walk amongst the redwoods, saying shes too old, but keen to go walk on a live volcano and risk a violent eruption or falling into a crater?

Its very expensive in case you wondering, esp if you get there by helicopter.

Secretly complete a goal and exceed in it greatly, then go and ask someone who is known for being negative, or a hater for their opinions and ideas about it as though it's still in the idea phase. After they give opinions about it, nonchalantly show it to them completed. Next, laugh internally at their reactions, and watch how fast they will try to end, change or redirect the subject lol, that's
always pretty fun to do.

Uh, that doesnt sound fun to me....it just sounds a tad complicated?!

My fun thing to do right now is eat blue cheese and crackers. And hang round postive people! If they like blue cheese and crackers they may share and join in the fun but if they dont, too bad, more for me.

Am going to a quiz nite ..if they arent too long they can be fun. They said on the invite prizes for best dressed table. So I suggested we dress the table as the Periodic Table table..but On second thought maybe it just means everyone gets dressed up lol.

Yea i think you meant to say that it would be time consuming, it isn't all that complicated. I have a monk-like mindset so i like to take my time on things. I am the type to work on building or mastering something for years and not grow tired of it once. Fun is just a matter of perspective. As for positive people that's good... Dunno about moldy cheese on crackers though. But i wish you the best on your quiz nite adventure.

Blue cheese can be an acquired taste, but its creamy blue for me.
The other combination is cheese and marmite or vegemite, but if you have blue cheese, you dont need the yeast extract spread.

My brother is working on restoring an old car, like a packard and its going to take him years and he might need to mortgage his home to do it. Im like ok.. but.thats his thing.

My long term project also takes a lifetime and thats gardening. You need to work on it every day to get results. Even if you arent actually working in it, you are thinking about it. Some people do it as a community and have working bees etc but the most satisfaction is when you have that quiet time with God in the garden.

I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
The son of God discloses...

And he walks with me and he talks with me
And he tells me I am his own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
No other has ever known

My fun thing yesterday was pruning bananas.

It seems other peoples fun thing is telling other people what to do and then not doing it. Which is kinda not very fun for the other person who generally doesnt like being told what to do or not to do. (Dont ever tell someone they SHOULD do something, guarantee that other person will think well who died and made you God? )

I have great respect for people that make things fun. I have not so much respect for people that are wet blankets. They need to spend some time in the sun I reckon.

Thats it. Lets all go to the beach.

Friend invited me to movies, and said invite another friend, well two friends said yes so four of us are going.

Do y'all hang out in groups, whats the most number of people youve gathered together? Ive managed 12 friends we all went to an ice cream factory. Why 12 well the tour could only go ahead with minimum of 12 people.

I felt a bit like Jesus calling his disciples. I wonder if it was easy to get them all together or whether some made excuses.

It is interesting watching children, when they are young evrything is fun, but when they get to about year 5 in school they older ones kind of get pathetic and dont want to do anything fun. I told a class today they were getting old and boring.

Dont want to sing, dance, read, play games or anything.

I also asked them do you want to be dumb? Some said actually yes. I also asked them do you want to be smart? If you want to be smart then read some books.

I wonder what they would say if I said do you want to go to jail? Cos we can certainly arrange a tour if they really want to go.

Hooray school holidays! Let the fun begin. Why God has me working in a school I dont know...but have to say of all workplaces Ive worked in its actually the most fun.

I've had some really dead boring jobs where you sat in a room in front of a computer for 8 hours With ot other people doing the same. After a few months or so of this I was going crazy.

Hanging round your pyjamas at home is fun, until visitors come. Then you need to quickly get dressed, thats what happened to my friend. (I was not the visitor, I know better than to bother ppl first day of the school holidays) .

If it was me I would have stayed in my pyjamas and then my visitor would have got the message, you come over without warning, I get to stay in my pjs.
