Ann, right now just tell them the basics of the Christian faith, which is the milk and when they are ready they can get the meat. So it is good you are helping, but let God do the work.

I'm really taken back by some of the opposition I've had lately. I've been a Christian for over 10 years but last year I felt God pulling me closer to him. I naturally want to witness to my friends. I've been the butt of jokes and had my friend say not to be so Christiany. I know he meant that he's turned off by the way some Christians say "you can't do this or you shouldn't do that!" I get that. I don't do that though. I work on myself. However I believe in these times it is urgent to get the message out. We don't have forever! Its so hard to do the right thing whn others ridicule you for it. I'm reminded all the time that Jesus said people will hate us because they hated him.

Amen, sister. We will be persecuted by unbelievers, but anybody who is a true friend will share your love of God.
