You're boring. I didn't mean it.
Brilliant and Christlike response :LOL::ROFL:

If you didn't mean it, why did you say it?

Think before you type, then proofread before you send.

Well God will give us the desires of our hearts. But there are some that do not desire a mate.

We, as those who especially prize love, are capable of finding someone to partner up with to spread love to others.

It's a joining of two ministries together to create a larger and stronger ministry that becomes more than the sum of its parts.

Some people have the ability and some have a disability in that.

but that is kinda weird because, lots of people seem to have the ability to pair up, but then they dont really love their children that always puzzled me, or they would play favourites so you'd get some children who were loved more than others you talking about marriage.

though single mothers and single dads CAN love their children, as well.

Or they have the ability to pair up, but it doesnt last very long!

in terms of MINISTRY Ive always been able to find a partner in that but its not always a lifelong thing
different partners can come and go. But yes two are better than one in that Jesus sent people two by two...collaboration is always important in a working environment you can have many partners though not just one. The thing is minsitry is NOT limited to who can I find of the opposite sex to raise a family with who isnt already engaged and wants to do that for the rest of their life until they die.

I think something's wrong, but I can't say it out. Because I don't know some about you.

Odd phrasing... Single people are disabled? o_O
Nope.

I didn't say that either.
I know married people who are disabled in their ability to love.

It's that old expression of how "two wounded souls found love together". It's nonsense...they make a ward in a hospital for wounded souls and are a train wreck for all they procreate. Sin begats more sin.

Parents model sins for their children and those children repeat the same worthless behaviors and become parents themselves....each generation believing that they are softer and gentler on their kids than they had it growing up.
It's garbage. But people believe it for some reason.

Everyone carries the baggage of sin. They've had it for so long they don't even recognize their own sins as sins anymore.
I know a very pretty and attractive lady. She is a twin. Her brother got married and has kids but she hasn't. And for all of her intelligence (she is smart) she can't figure out that her own lack of grace extension is why she can't seem to find a husband.

And I do pity her in that. She wants a husband...but can't get anyone interested. We have mutual friends that are loyal to a fault...but for whatever reason...the ship is sailing. She's looking at retiring in about 15 years.

Marriage is about giving of yourself to another person. Trusting and being trustworthy is a part of that. Some people just can't do that.

Marriage is temporary but ex spouses last an eternity.

There you're doing it again, insinuating single people are in some way inferior.

No...
Not qualifying why some people can't do that. The Apostle Paul couldn't entrust anyone with his ministry by getting married. He did mentor many people though. But marriage wasn't exactly in the cards for him. He isn't exactly someone who I would classify as inferior.

There are many words I would use to classify Paul as being. Inferior isn't one of them. Stop reading things I haven't said or implied. Some people can't get married, some people shouldn't get married and some people can and should.

I have another friend who wants no part of married life. He has other ambitions that will make him the perpetual bachelor and he embraces that. No problem whatsoever with that. He has a lot of friends he likes to play and do stuff with. He has no desire for children...but he too mentors people.

is it just a mismatch you think, like people insist on pairing odd socks or wrong size shoes together. I dunno

in some christian circles, gay marriage is frowned upon, but they dont says anything about gay divorces!
but on other hand, in catholic circles marriage is like holy matrimony, and the law forbids divorce and birth control. if you are not married you are meant to become a nun or monk.

and people still dont really know how to look after widows or they kind of assume that when people marry they are just going to die at the exact same time. But I dont know of many couples that get to decide that (In india, they used to do suttees, if a husband died, the wife then killed herself or was burned alive)

Jesus said people wouldnt understand about eunuchs or why he himself didnt get married

Not everyone will, and many people that do find that they dont like being married and its hardship and suffering for them.

I think marriage can be beneficial but it rare that every marriage is a good one all the time.
Of course people want the idyll but the honeymoon period can be very short.

what dont you need to go back to work? lol

thing is, it might be good for the husband but if you ask the wife she actually might have a different perspective if shes being completely honest

for example, when shes cleaning the toilet and he has decided that is not his job after all. unless they are wealthy and can hire a maid or put their children to work

in the olden days a night cart man would take everyones business away, it was never the wifes job

if you are married there is no 'me and mine'
its 'we and ours' if you are truly as one

Nope...
I don't need a job. I was fixing to file for SS disability because of my joints.

But now I'm occupied with starting a bakery/coffee shop. Gonna be really busy with that. Gonna be working 70-80 hours a week.

And eventually become the operations manager for the chain.

And I do the household chores. My wife works and has a job...I do the cooking and cleaning and laundry.

Dunno who is going to do them when I go back to work.
