I always have been told how they are dumb animals.
As juveniles, they learn faster than dogs.
As adults, they become independent and aren't as social.
The last one that I saw came back with a baby in my back yard. The Lord knew that she needed a meal and that I would appreciate a blessing. It was getting dark and I just removed a mouse from a trap in my garage. I thought it would be best to toss it onto the soil of a blueberry bush for nitrogen. I went back there and tossed it under the bush and immediately saw it land on the nose of that young little momma opossum! They like to eat mice more than anything. I had no idea she was there until my eyes focused as it left my hand.
