How do you know think you can tell when you're "doing enough" or when you "should be doing more"?
That said, when God saves us, He makes us His workmanship (masterpiece), created as wholly new creatures in Christ, for/unto good works, as well as for/unto all of the many other things that accompany (are the result or fruit of) our salvation .. e.g. Ezekiel 36:26-27; John 3:3; Ephesians 2:8-10; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Hebrews 6:9. God knows whether we are capable of doing more or not concerning our sanctification, but like you, I wonder what sort of things there are that we should be looking at/examining, so that we can know too
It seems to me that one way of knowing is found in rightly assessing the state or condition of our relationship with God. Are we praying, rejoicing, thanking Him daily/without ceasing (some have referred to this as practicing the presence of God in our lives), or are we only thinking about Him/communicating with Him as a last resort instead (when we want/need something from Him)
There is also the fruit of the Spirit to consider .. Galatians 5:22-23. Are they (the fruits of the Spirit) what characterizes your life, or is it the deeds of the flesh and mind instead .. Galatians 5:19-21?
Those are the tests that come to my mind immediately, but surely there are more, yes
God bless you!

p.s. - I think that it might help us "know" if we are doing/have done enough if this portion of St. Patrick's LORICA (prayer) could be said to be true of us:
Christ in the heart of everyone who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me,
Christ in every eye that sees me,
Christ in every ear that hears me.
The wonderful/wondrous thing is, God is always at work in us/sanctifying us, so that if such a thing cannot be said of us today, it still may be someday
