Where do u live now?

It actually gets very hot here. Sometimes past 110 degrees. It wan't that bad before, and we seem to get a lot more humidity now. I don't know why but now we have it, but its not quite as bad as florida or the east coast.
I remember the humidity climbing over the years when I lived there. The house I grew up in had a swamp cooler and it worked darned well in the mid to late 70's. As the area built up in the late 70's and early80's it just quit working so well because the nominal humidity level had risen.

It's going to happen when you take land that is naturally arid and add hundreds of thousands of houses with irrigated lawns and backyard swimming pools. All that additional water evaporating ................

Good morning CC peeps. Happy Monday to you (as if there is such a thing). Let's get this day started.

Good morning Deade! Good morning all :)

I just got to work and here I am on my computer with my coffee :coffee::giggle:

I may be a bit busy today... busier than usual. The end of the school year sends a deluge :censored:

I made this graphic last night

PS~ I like the purple images you post ;) Some of them I have posted myself! :D

After I posted this, I realized that the "is" at the end of the third line is separated from the previous word by more than one space :( I am going to have to fix that. Adding font to images is very tricky and time consuming, first to find one that will not be altered when the text is rasterized, which happens when the layers are flattened. Some fonts I cannot use at all because of how greatly they change when the image is flattened as it has to be o post it. Also positioning it around the other elements in a pleasing manner takes a lot of time, because each font displays differently in terms of how much space it takes up; even if I make it the same size as another font, there may be more spaces between each letter, or more space between each line

I made this one this weekend also :D

Thank you, LoverofJesus :) I noticed many of the images you post have a similar look and it did seem as if they were all coming from a particular source :) I hope you have an awesome day also! :):):)

Thank you, Jerry :) It is a labor of love ;) I spend hours every so often looking for the elements to add to my creations. They are offered for free for people to use in their projects as long as it is not commercial, which mine are not, because I am not selling them :D I discovered a site recently that had about 11,396 images of unicorns  I am on page nine of sixty pages; each page has many images on it. A lot of them are not suitable for me, but I look at each one. Of the 11,396 images, I may save a hundred of them  I have 186 files in my Equus folder :D That includes horses, Pegasuses, and unicorns :) I may have added twenty to thirty to it since finding that site. Some of them are larger files than an image I already had. The larger the file is, the better, because I can always size down, but you cannot size up. Sometimes I have to shrink the whole image to add one element to it so that the element displays at the size I want it to. Suitable angels are harder to find :devilish:

I've got you beat. I've got about 20,000-plus images on my computer, of everything from A to Z... LOL

Amazingly enough, they don't take up as much room on the HD, as I thought they would.(y)

Blue, that was ONE folder only, of horses, unicorns, and Pegasuses. My downloads folder has 2,737 Files, in 34 Folders. They are not all images, though most of them are, nor are all my images on this computer. I have over a thousand files on my portable drive, and more on my other laptop. This laptop is only three months old :) Then there is my desktop computer... sigh. I think I have given up on it :p

Just did up my dishes. That's ONE constructive thing accomplished today.. View attachment 183783

lol
I filled the dishwasher and emptied it when it was done. Also, fed Tango and Sugar this morning, cleaned their kitty litter pans, took out the trash and just got back from the grocery store. It has been a typical day so far. I am a firm believer in the importance of accomplishing constructive tasks, however small or trivial they may seem. To be a success you get there one small task at a time. I woke up this morning feeling like crap, head was throbbing and my back was sore and stiff but once I got started in the day I felt much better. I am surmising that you accomplished more than one constructive thing today besides doing the dishes. :)

I also have another laptop, a small 10", that some of the keys across the bottom row died on. My daughter has the same device; she bought it brand new from someone who won it at a Christmas party. I drove her to a gas station on Christmas day a few years ago to meet with the seller, who had advertised it on Craigslist :giggle: She has had no problems with hers, and still uses it. I do not remember how long mine lasted; I bought it second hand, and it worked fine for a while (less than a year). It was my first touch screen monitor. Both my laptops since then have been touch screens :) I really like that feature! :) I was not a member here, though, when I was using that 10" device ;)
