I am sorry to hear of the passing of your very dear friend at such a young age :( That must have been a very difficult time for you. Was he 27?

I grew up in a brick house, and went to school in a brick building LOL. Lots of buildings back east were or are made of brick. It is kind of neat to see it now, because that is not the case on the west coast, where I have been for the last forty years.

Hey, speaking of old friends, I had a childhood friend move away when we were ten, and she has recently contacted my closest sister through fakebook wanting to reconnect with me 53 years later  I don' know what to tell my sister, who wants a confident yes from me. I am ambivalent. I find I cannot say no but can only say yes reluctantly :p I barely remember her; we were probably friends for about a year or so before her and her mom moved away, and we lost touch after that. What would you do?

Oh, I wanted to let you know also that I started taking calcium on your recommendation for my recurring Charlie horses. Wow, are they ever painful, but they have subsided since then, so thank you, Gabe :)
Oh boy I hope you mean magnesium, not calcium. Calcium might actually make them worse.

Thats great that your friend found you :D This is so weird because just last week i decided to look up my friend from philly who i havent heard from since i moved in 74... and I found his sisters in facebook. I saw him in their friends and he looks like hes really taken great care of himself. I dont think Ill contact them but its nice to know they are still around and doing well :)

Well, calcium is a muscle relaxant, and it does have magnesium with it, as well as Vitamin D. I have put on my old lady glasses to read the label: Natural Factors Calcium & Magnesium Citrate with D3 (that part I can read without the magnifiers :D). 250 mgs cal, 250 mgs mag, 20 mgs potassium, 5 mg zinc, manganese 1 mg. I have spent way too much money over the years on supplements, but this? This has really helped :)

Actually, magnesium is the muscle relaxant. Calcium facilitates muscle contraction. Potassium also helps with cramps. But Im glad it has helped! :)

Calcium is good for enhancing mood and sort of relaxing your mood... but its what your muscles use for contraction.

Yes, I am sure it has helped, as they were starting to happen with alarming frequency, even mini ones :( And they are no more! So thanks again :) Dinner is ready! Thanks for everything, Gabe.

I stated quite plainly I didn't want to be called that. I even ended up in an argument with a friend over whether or not the way I spoke to you was wrong. Yet here you are ignoring my request. Being rude yourself. Easiest way to ensure not having to tolerate that again is the ignore feature. Goodbye.
Have a heart ❤️:p

An update on Shawn. She came through her surgery just fine, and I'll give more info as I get it. Thanks again to all who prayed for her. To those who didn't, you owe me some candy!

Who’s been in deep, deep prayer?

Me.

Why?

Cause I’m looking and looking and trying to find a better job that won’t treat me like a doormat..

pray.... just... pray.
Amen - that you are seeking the Lord to answer your concerns about your current job, and the direction He wants to take you in the going forward in your life with Him to prosper you in His will. The point of prayer is not to get answers from God, but to have perfect and complete oneness with Him. "Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful." - (Colossians 4:2).

I pray He has great things for you in store!

I am so happy She is doing well, I will give you candy and I prayed for her twice, even though I thought she was your daughter the first time, but God is patient and kind so He probably just said, "Holy Spirit, what is Dan talking about again?!! And the Holy Sport said, "Who knows? Oh Wait, I'm suppose to know ...its coming thru now, He meant the daughter is the Mother and vice versa." "Ok," said God, "I knew that, I just wanted to hear you say that too, ain't Dan a hoot!? But his heart is with Me so...I'll give em all what they pray for - after all I am Patient and Kind and Loving, what can I say its just Me - when people pray in faith!" "Yep," exclaimed the Holy Spirit.

I pray this is not sacrilegious. that would horrify my soul. God be Praised in this!

You are welcome, LM! I remember I had a red top once when I was in high school, and just after that, but it may have been the only red thing I owned and wore as an adult; it was an orangey red. Some colors suit different skin ones better than others. Hey, I have a pic of me wearing it LOL

I liked pink too, as you can tell :D Now I do wear purple all the time :)
People say things to me like, wow, even your glasses match your outfit
today  And I tell them that my glasses match my outfit every day ;)

PS: I liked Legally Blonde also! :)
Ahhhh ....Is this our precious Magenta? What a cutie patooty! LOL :)...

I plan on going 2 full days without sleep....... someday lol
You might as well - you only get to be a youth until you grow past it. But is that true? How would I prove that becc? Any Scripture to back that up? How about this one as an example:

When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man (or girl to woman), I put the ways of childhood behind me. (1 Corinthians 13:11).

Can you come up with any Cross-Reference Scripture Passages with their Addresses? ....LOL. You know I love ya Sis! I'm investing in your prosperity in Christ. :).
