Little Quimby died today. He wasn't gaining weight like he should have been. :( Poor Ramona, now TWO of her babies are dead.. View attachment 181060

The chatters knew something was wrong, he hadn't moved in hours. But the mods kept saying, "he's fine". :/ NO, HE'S DEAD.

This sucks.. never watching another cat give birth again on here. :(

The way I have found to deal with grief, whether of a beloved pet (I had to put down a wonderful kitty last year) or a close family member, is to think of all the joy I had with the person or cat (etc), and cry about it. The more I cry, the more value I had out of the relationship.

As I cry, I thank God that I have so much to cry about. How much worse would the relationship have been if I had nothing to cry about?

As I cry, I remember all the good moments I enjoyed with that person or pet and I grieve their loss.

I think how every tear represents a blessing in my life because of that person or pet.

I grieve the lost of so an important relationship but I thank God that I had such a rich relationship to grieve over.

And I cry as often and deeply as I feel like. The more I grieve, the deeper the relationship was and the more I can thank God for it.

You have my tears for your loss.

Yes - I have had it hard trying to get in here as of late myself ... I hope and pray they work it out soon. I have missed much but I am trying to (get ready here it comes.....>) KETCHUP! LOL. Pretty soon we will have our own language altogether. And instead of calling on a Lexicon to understand it, we will be calling on English to understand others instead....LOL. But, I don't think this is what God meant by a transformed life....LOL  ... Good Morning Peoples! I have been Reading Acts and Luke this Morning. What do you all think of this passage?

"Do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you....." (Like 10:20).

I think it has to do with Spiritual Success and our desire for it over our desire for God Himself, hence the warning... of seeing self-awareness in us developing..based on a false pretense of godliness. Making us a dictator of His Word and not a discusser and a discoverer of His Word with and alongside people. What say you?

We must always understand when dealing with people that Discipleship carries with it an option. Ill-regardless of bad choices leading to destruction.

Although I like Luke the passage address I left is actually Luke 10:20 and not Like:10:20 but you all had faith that was the case right?!!

Yeah, CC is working again, sorta like a on again, off again, love, hate, relationship. I believe the correct pronunciation is bahhk, but then again, I talk funny as you are very much aware. You may need an espresso. :)

I believe the warning was as.much for us today as it was for the disciples then. I've seen so many churches that are so focused on signs, wonders, and gifts of the Spirit that they seem to have forgotten about understanding the Bible, or sharing the gospel with the lost. I'm pretty sure Jesus didn't want to have to tell His disciples this(Matthew 7:23).

So I was going to post one of my new cards on here today until my friend mentioned it looked demonic...:/ that was unintentional I made a Nephlim card (Which is biblical but it may have turned out looking a little evil :/ I think it looks cool but I get enough grief when I post my cards on here. Im still going to have it printed but I would like someone elses opinion on it first. Although I heard Nephlims are half Angels and half human which would be an unholy mix but I don't think there necessarily evil. Any opinions? Should I post the card or should I just post something else?

I agree. It's also kinda like boasting in our own skills and God-given authority rather than giving due glory to the Lord and being grateful for the honour to serve Him.

We're currently on the book of Acts in our project to read the bible from Genesis through Revelation that started Sept 15, 2016. This morning we finished chapter 18. Probably will finish this particular reading of the bible around the beginning of summer. Next day we start another reading of the entire bible.

This is the first time that we have read the entire bible consecutively from start to finish. I believe that's the way to go as I have found that it is easier to maintain focus. Each time we start a bible reading we use a different revision that allows us to gain perspective.

I believe that God has known full well how His holy word was to be translated and what the major revisions were to be and that these translations and revisions were inspired by the Holy Spirit for the appropriate scribes to record and translate. They are all reliable and spiritually edifying.

This will be my 4th complete reading of the bible, God willing.

I agree with you on that - we are to trust and have faith that the translations are accurate and reliable. Remember we have the Holy Spirit to help us to discern.

These poor little kittens. :( Now one of Rula's babies is losing weight, and Shelly is concerned. Also, Fontina (Chloe's kitten) is having problems gaining weight... Please pray for them.. Shelly just weighed Aura, the cleft palate kitten, and she's gained a few grams, which is good.

These kittens deserve to live. Please pray for ALL of them, including the mamas, Rula, Ramona and Chloe..
