I'm suspicious of spiders and energetically gluttonous ducks....
So anyway I got my gardening tools and had a nice conversation with Mr.Lee...He was in a good mood and even sold me a water hose for less than the original price.Usually he just says :"You wanna buy?Fifty dollar."

Oh so glad you could be with us again. Nice tools by the way. Did I just say that? Forgive me, I’ve been on another thread and they’re very cheeky over there. Hey, I was thinking, OR, was that, what was I thinking. Well, you can figure it out. Just gimme some more pizza.

Four and twenty black birds baked in a pie

Yes of course it doesn’t make any sense but who cares :p

I’m gonna get a bit deeper a little later J

See you real soon…

Not eating Pizza at the moment...trying to lose weight after Emotional eating the past months
Hi Motherheart – glad you found us and welcome to this thread. As you can see, this is a thread about nothing in particular so feel free to post whatever you choose. (Keeping within forum rules of course.) You can be open and sincere here and know that you are supported – some just come to vent about their day, others come for the frivolous nature of the thread. Others come just to receive (or give) a good laugh – or just to say hi and have it returned back to them. And, others do come to talk about cats, and some come to talk about pizza and any other type of gastronomical delight they ate that day. It is quite a random thread so feel free to express yourself – and the love and concern shown here by everyone is sincere and from the heart. J

Emotional eating has more than likely affected all of us at some point. I find that when we truly give ourselves to Jesus to take care of us and our needs, He will satisfy us in other ways and our need for eating those extra little delights, eases, and seemingly and without too much effort, our weight is restored to normal again.

You’ve been through much (referring to your other posts about your situation) and I know how hard it is, but you do come out of it – and it does sometimes take time – and may not happen as quickly as we would like, but I can assure you that it’s during those times, when it seems like nothing much is happening, then that is when Jesus is doing His finest work – then suddenly – you look back and think, ‘wow – look how far we’ve come’ and you realise that you’ve arrived, safe and sound. I don’t know how He does it – but He does it – and everything will get better soon. I hope this helps.

Well I did say I would get a bit deeper a little later in the thread – so now – here it is for you – I’m going to go just that little bit deeper here:

And just want you to know something – that we do care – and – hopefully you’ll be back soon, to give us a rundown on your adventures with your new garden hose. That should be fascinating.

Oh, the pressure was just too much!

Well everybody, it’s getting close to that time again where we wrap things up and say goodnight. I hope you’ve been enjoying yourselves around the place today – I know I have – and probably a little too much haha. But one thing I know is this, that the friendship and care here is huge – and I would go as far as to say – GINOROMOUS – and I just want to thank each and every one of you that fellowshipped with me today (or your night) – it’s been amazing, and I truly do appreciate you all.

So goodnight dear ones – sweet dreams – and I’ll see you all in the morning…

And remember, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush

No idea.

Bye xo

It means it is better to keep what you have than to angle for more and end up with nothing.

Well Good Morning lovelies! J

How are you all on this fine and wonderful day! Yes it is a fine and wonderful day, because I get to see all your lovely faces and smile and laugh at the antics going on around here. I was thinking that if we could all connect at the same time – wouldn’t that be great? But one supposes that we’ll just have to put up with all the time differences and be thankful that we have the internet, that’s for sure. I was thinking about how marvellous our God is, to bring us all together here – for me it’s been a huge ride of fun and fellowship and already I feel as though I’m getting to know everybody here – not through the giving of personal information, but by the way they respond to my posts and the feeling that one gets through this type of interaction. Thanks to all who have participated here – and one day we can all have a laugh about this with Jesus in Heaven – God willing I’ll be there with you when it’s time to be called home…

So true – and well said by the way. J There’s a time and a season for everything under the sun. Sometimes we need to kick back and enjoy what we already have – and other times the Lord would have us reach out, casting our nets out into the deep. Who’s hungry? Fish anyone? What season are you in. J

Or

Did I just miss the point? Haha :D
