When I was younger I lived in Ohio and the thunder storms were ferocious, my Sister and I would open the main front door to our house and sit snugged next to the screen door and wrap a blanket around ourselves, as if the blanket had godly powers to save us, and we would get scared with excitement while getting practically wet as well. The thunder and lightning would snap crackle and pop - wait what? Ok, that was the cereal we ate while the thunder and lightning went to open up the sky with deep and shaking moments of seeing and hearing God. I now know God protected us from the metal screen attracting the lightning bolts, but we were kids then, we had a "Child-like faith" that God was even in the blanket protecting us - yes there is a sermon in there too...LOL
. I loved those days! And in those extreme experiences it also bonded me and my Sister too - yes there is a sermon in there too. LOL
