huh

seems we have an editor in chief and art critic all rolled into one

poem is not my cup of tea but certainly is legitimate

I don't get why when someone reveals personal pain or whatever someone else comes along and tries to correct what someone else felt or thought

that is why I very seldom say anything personal around here. people need to stop trying to mold others after themselves

this is not scripture. it's not black and white. it's subjective

Ues I know and they seem to have nothing good to say that's is actually constructive about what I did here..have a look at their comments..They have not even commented on that previous response I did and just commented on the use of grammar which in their minds is a way of honouring God.
They have no idea of how my life is completely given over to God..they dint know anything about me..it annoyed me to be honest..

frankly, I would think that poem could be applied to any ongoing sin issue in a person's life

God knows all about the struggles we have and we should get it out there...to God that is...and not pretend we are all wonderful little Christians so good that butter does not melt in our mouth

if people knew the thoughts of those that they sit beside in church, they might just change seats ;) not in all cases of course

annoys me too. it's not real. when people think they have to behave in a perceived way, that is what you get, because there is nothing quite so shocking as someone else's sin (sarcasm)

Yes it is being silly in this context..There may be different views about grammar which I get in terms of expressing biblical text.
.but come on..we are all brothers and sisters here and no one should be saying that by using non capital letters in expressing themselves about spiritual truth is in anyway not honouring God,jesus or the holy spirit.
That sounds almost legalistic.
God know the depth of my passion for him and how my affections are towards him..

get over it shittim. the Bible says to pour out your heart to God

what is sad is rejecting another person's attempt to do just that

that is a reason so many will not seek help. they fear being judged or not worthy

yet Jesus goes after the lost lamb while the 99 are sitting pretty

Yea I agree it could be any sin...deceitful desires can be any desire that a person can experience..
Ha ha..if they knew their thought they might even say.. "Gosh you as well?..I though I was the only one who had thoughts like that"😉
The bible does day that the temptations we face at times are common to man

right and also states that Jesus was tempted as we are but OVERCAME so we know we can also overcome in Him

what if a person has a gluttony habit? or a gossip habit? or a criticizing habit? all sins but so many do not think thin they are as bad as sexual sin. ALL are harmful both to the individual and to the body of Christ in general

anyway, the spankings are not going to stop apparently so I would just move on if I were you and not try to justify yourself as the only way that will go over is if you state you are wrong and everyone else is right

Exactly..the bible say that man low at the outward (my so called lack of honouring christ and the holy spirit by grammatical errors)..yet God sees the heart (my own brokenness of surrender to him and how Gof makes me cry in gratitude to him and how much he means to me)..

I pray that others will see the need and how desperate people are for God as God really is and not some untouchable Spirit on a throne who cannot wait to hit us over the head with a hard bound Bible

Yes spot on..and the Intresting thing is that being tempted is NOT a sin..yielding to it is.
Coz jesus was tempted yet he NEVER sinned.
The bible say when we sin sexually we sin against our bodies and that all other sins are done outside the body.I guess it boilds doe to just how sacred sex is and how God created it as a rich blessing for us with such a different dynamic to all other things.

My goodness I would never expect that podn I wrote would create such a wide range of responses..but it's all good.👍👍😊

Yes exactly..I have only been here a few days and I am having to justify myself to those who are quick to correct me from believing that either I am not sincere or that i am in error..but i am far too rooted in christ to be moved..it just reinforces the fact that all that really matters is that God knows my heart and motives towards him and just like Peter tries to convince jesus that him going to the cross wasnt the right thing..jesus knew the source of where his comments were coming from.
I am here on this great forum and I intend to remain in jesus name.💪💪🙏🏻
