There was absolutely NO THREAT to anyone with this driver asleep in a drive thru lane. Just inconveniencing of others.
That assumes he would not awaken and drive away in a drunken stupor.
It is the job of the police to deal with intoxicated drivers and prevent their being a public nuisance and/or potential threat.

Not social workers ;)

This young man would still be alive, and two police officers would still be free if they had asked him to move his car to an empty parking space, and he moved the car to the parking space. For public safety, the police officers should take his keys and call a friend or family member to come get him. They didn't, he didn't. He's dead and their lives are ruined.
