Ok, I just googled it. yes, I have heard all these stupid ideas before.
I don't have much patience for this kind of thing. It is just too easy to fact check and therefore I suspect the motives of those that buy into it.
I want to be nice about it but I can only come up with a few reasons why people would believe it:
1) They are mentally ill. Maybe delusional, schizophrenic, or some other clinical problem that just can't tell fantasy from reality.
2) They are having fun with it. They know it is not true but they like to imagine it were, like a fantasy game.
3) They are liars: They know it is not true but they want it to be, and they don't mind lying to people. They themselves would make a fake video if they had the creative skills so they don't mind watching fake videos that are not telling the truth and they don't mind passing them on. They are hardened liars and they don't have shame or guilt.
4) They are dumber than a box of rocks and just so ignorant that they don't notice the glaring errors in the information they are falling for. And they don't know how to fact check. So they don't try. Probably do not like to read. Probably will not read my posts because there are too many words.
It must be one of these reasons.
