Back to the gun safe solution the other woman proposed. Do you think it could have maybe/possibly deterred the shooter in this case, who got the gun from his fathers house?
The military guards and locks up guns and weapons so they can't be stolen. So do police departments. I look at this as wisdom. Why, when this is proposed for singular gun owners, does it become so odious...?

That whole "Hogg" issue has always seemed suspicious to me... he wasn't even there, but all of a sudden he's the primary spokesperson for the school, looking severely into the camera, little girly fist raised defiantly in the air.... It just seems odd to me.
What happened to the OP? I still want to hear HER views on what the 2nd Amendment was for.
I found it amusing that she progressed so rapidly from "nobody wants to take your guns", to "nobody wants to take all your guns" then to "nobody should be able to own a 'military style gun'..."

Show me one instance where He ever said anything like that to His followers. You're comparing apples to oranges.
Too, One can share a different opinion without resorting to name calling. You really think God condones this kind of activity?

you should read some of these verses next time before you falsely equate what a brother says to justifying fornication
nothing i am speaking of is related to pride
or stirring up anger
it is about being honest with those in error as opposed to lying

if you think you are perfectly gentle to all

you are not
i agree gentleness is a fruit of the Holy spirit
i also think we should be careful with how we speak to others as members of the body of Christ
but if someone says to me when im in grave error
"listen pal, you have no idea what youre talking about here.... the truth is we are saved by grace through faith and any other belief is stupid"
this is coming from a heart that wants someone else to see the truth
as opposed to
"hey bro..... i know we believe different things.... i sure do think im right but its ok for you to believe what you believe too.... your works based religion is just as valid as my own"
neither of these are perfect
but one is out of love
