i, for one, am not condemning trump, but , that being said, no politician should be highly trusted.

yesterday, trump made statements condemning central bank digital currencies, and that was great to hear!
Agreed. Digital currency could very well turn out to be the "money" used by the Beast's system. After all, it can be a global currency, and we, the consumer, have no control over it.

May I ask why you care about this? I am not being snooty, I genuinely want to know.

If memory serves -- and it may not -- you said that America's Babylon the Great. If you think that, and also seem to believe that these are the last of the last days, why does this matter to you? The country's going to be under dark smokey clouds anyway.
I think this is one more piece of evidence of how corrupt the US is and how phony the election process has become.

But... why do you therefore care about Trump or anything else political here in the US?

You have misread my posts, or else you are letting others interpret them for you.

Read again, the posts lay out a case against the US. If the treatment of Trump is unrighteous then that is evidence of the case against the US.

Joe Biden is an illegitimate president, I hammer him on that. Others interpret that to mean I care about Trump. That is people reading and hearing what they want to hear and disregarding what I actually said.

Many people had no problem with questioning an election if it was Stacy Abrams or Hillary Clinton. But if Trump does it they accuse him of insurrection. That is unrighteous and hypocritical. I don't care about Trump, I care about the unrighteousness and hypocrisy.

So then WHY CARE?!? The nation is prophetically doomed according to you, so why does it matter to you??

Because those who repent and turn to the Lord will be saved.

I watched the movie the Pianist, it is about a Jewish man who survives the holocaust in Poland. My wife asked me if they could have escaped Poland at a certain point. I told her it would have been very difficult, very unlikely (this man's family all get sent to the death camp). I told her that in 1917 the Balfour declaration was made and all Jews could have easily returned at that point. This particular family was prosperous and doing quite well in Warsaw, Poland. They didn't want to go back to some wasteland in the Middle East. Some of course did, but it was very few. So 22 years later the story of this movie begins. They had 22 years to return but they refused. So then we have the holocaust which fully explained to the Jews why they need to have their own country.

Some people will give all to follow the Lord. Most will not. That is where the tribulation comes in, you don't get to ride the fence, you don't get to be humpty dumpty any longer. Either you are all for Jesus or you aren't. But now, once we are in that tribulation, giving all for Jesus will mean martyrdom.

Suppose we were in 1939. Is there any chance at this point for the Jews in Warsaw to escape the ghetto and gas chambers? Slim to none. But can they still refuse to work with the Nazi's? Yes. Now the message is don't take the mark of the beast, if you put on that Nazi star there is no salvation for you.

BTW 22 years ago the US was warned. We had 9/11.

Jesus is returning! Wake up people; be holy, for your salvation is Jesus! He is victorious.

America's Babylon the Great, so it doesn't matter. Get into your bunker and wait for the poop to hit the giant fan.
I think you are right.
I believe that if this is in God's timing, America is Babylon and no president will turn that around. I would like to get a bit of time and opportunity to stock up for the famine though. As far as the poop fan, I'll just have to wear a raincoat when going out to lead others to Christ. Even if the Lord delays, there's a lot of people that don't have much time left. That's why I ask for prayer in reaching the nursing home, assisted living, and hospice patients.

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord:

You guys seemed to be condemning Trump in other threads. Did I misunderstand???? I don't get this thread at all.
I can't speak for anyone else, but just thought this an interesting current event that others would be interested in. There's plenty of blame to go around when talking about politics. You've heard the saying about politics.

I was being wholeheartedly sarcastic. But, since for many here that is the way of things, I am puzzled by their continued concern and discussion over American elections. If you really believe America's that great evil power, it makes no sense for you to be thinking about her political future.

You shall eat the fruit of your own way

Proverbs 1:30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. 31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

When you suffer tribulation, don't blame God. Be honest, consider carefully, and you will realize that you are eating the fruit of your ways, you are filled with your own devices, you despised all of God's reproof, you refused His counsel.

Okay... But yes, when you talk about Trump in some of your posts the way you do, your presentation becomes confusing. And, it's hard to read ALL of your posts ALL the way through ALL the time. One would have to be retired, or have no other use for their spare time. So, I glean, and try to get the gist. Your posts just seemed inconsistent to me. They still do, although this last one may lend some clarity to things. Time will tell :D

So don't, simply refer to any offending comment.

For example, I recently said "Is it as good as the job that Trump offered Desantis? " That was a joke from a Babylon Bee satirical article.

Or. "one possible reason why Haley or Desantis could argue that donors should continue to give them millions for their campaign and that is that Trump can be removed from the Ballot. " -- This shows that Haley and Desantis are banking on lawfare as part of their campaign strategy. Doesn't say one word about Trump but certainly says a lot about Haley and Desantis.

Or "7% is not small. It can push Trump up to 60%" simple calculation saying that Vivek backing Trump will make a powerful impact. A comment that is more about Vivek than Trump.

Or you can connect the dots. I am saying these politicians are corrupt liars (Haley and Desantis) and that Trump winning the Republican nomination is inevitable (barring some 3rd world banana republic type crimes). This is not a plug for Trump, simply stating facts.

Hmmm... yeah, okay, I guess... although I'm not the only one who sees your political commentary as inconsistent.

But, for the sake of argument, say we got it all wrong. Fine. It still makes no sense for you to give a flying hoot what happens here in the States. If we're predicted to be completely wiped from the earth, the only thing that matters is evangelizing as much as possible and preparing for this inevitable destruction.

I, for the record, do not see things this way. I still have hope for the country and refuse to interpret prophecy via the current headlines. But, if you believe and see things the way you do, about America's doom that is, I cannot understand your interest in the nation's cultural war. Politically and culturally, we are going to lose, according to you, so why discuss the fight?
