Just listen to NPR. A guy told me that over the weekend. The authorities ran tests in the chemical pits and they've found" zero chemicals." Go back to sleeeeep says the lisping NPR voice.
I don't want to be overly critical because I sincerely appreciate the updates. But the guy in the video is often woefully unprepared and even lost at times. I keep thinking at any time I will hear...and Boom goes the dynamite.

He reads news reports, apparently he subscribes to some news services that charge a fee and so he has made a podcast of reading their announcements. I ignore about 2/3 of his stories, for example he had two previous stories of big fires but I would think that there must be big fires taking place all the time somewhere in the US. But at this point I think Toxic spills, Toxic fires, train derailments, and anything that looks like sabotage to food or critical infrastructure is something we should be aware of.
Thanks for the post.
It doesn't look like a tanker from my screen.
The description in the video says they were just empty coal cars. That would be best case scenario if that's true. My question is why is the water/ shoreline on fire from a simple derailment of an empty car?

As plausible as all these explanations are, it was probably just the body of water's birthday and this is nothing more than a case of over zealous candle arrangement.

How diesel got into the water is another question. If they were empty coal cars that jumped the tracks and flipped, I'd expect a little coal to spill, but not liquid fuel.
I'm sure that an internal investigation will be done and the RR authorities will explain the mystery to NPR when they finish the press release.
