And where has this person indicated they do not stand for Christ?
And how does differing views on this virus and epidemiology even remotely connected to standing for Christ?

My dear mother really put Jesus into her life so much. She gave and gave of herself & she did not discriminate against people who were different. She forgave. She loved all. She had so much compassion & empathy. And my goal is that if I can do a fraction of what she did, I will have done a lot. For me, it is not about "rules", it is about being a decent human being. If you really follow Jesus, you have done well. My dear Mom passed away and her anniversary is coming soon. I will always miss her, but I carry what she taught me and I try every single day to do some of what she did. And, for this, Catholic Christian, that is enough.
If you can respond to these words with anger, here is just a little of what Jesus Said:
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.”
— Jesus (Matthew 5:3-10)
My point is: Jesus death did matter. His life, though, is where we can learn. No one can be anything like He was, but we can try. I pray to Him daily to be able to do just a fraction of all of this. And it is what gets me through in life.Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
