Provided that you and your gang can hold off a Mad Max like gang. If you have ten others with guns and a very good defensive set up you should be fine as well as good training among a number of you in medical care as well as medical supplies.
Some things you must just leave up to God to provide.

Don't ride the fence, either you put your trust in the Lord or you put it in guns and chariots. You need to be all in.

Not sure about everywhere but most everyone around here that farm talk to and rely on one another(neighboring farms) for help all the time. So I'm pretty sure help would come out of the woods north, south east and west because if they heard someone ambushing the neighbors farm then theirs would just be next and they know it. I do believe in relying on God but also that neighborly love will take over and some things might not work like in the movies,,,in fact some of those farm looting gangs might be trying to figure out how all those hillbillies ended up surrounding them so fast...

Noah put his trust in God by preparing the ark. Stocking up isn't lack of faith, it's obedience. I always wonder if, having been warned of the coming flood, Noah had said "God will save me" and didn't build the boat. Maybe God would have enabled Noah to dog paddle those 40+ days. Or maybe Noah would have drowned wit the rest. God was, after all, punishing disobedient people on earth!

I have bought food seeing the coming famine and the coming hyperinflation. However, I am under no illusions, no one rides out the tribulation with a storehouse full of food and a shotgun across their lap.

All the stores around here are loaded to the brim. There is no shortage yet. I don't expect one any time soon. We have extras on hand and plenty of chicken eggs daily.

America's truck drivers are making sure the goods make it to our tables. Thank you Jesus!

Seems I read in the Bible that those who do not provide for their families are worse than an infidel and another place that says those who do not work should not eat.
God has provided me with the finances and opportunity to prepare for a rainy day and I took full advantage of it. Never wasted money or time on fancy phones, clothes, cars, houses or vacations.
Used what God provided to help others and provide for the future.
So how have you used your opportunities?
Will add, I will share with anyone who has done their best, but will turn away those who have wasted God's provision.
But, in the end it is all in God's hands. I fully trust His decisions.
He will bless who He chooses and will not those He chooses.

If everything is on the altar for the Lord then He can use it for salvation and for His plan. It is quite simple, if all that you have prepared is a result of following the Lord and all is consecrated to the Lord then Amen, but if "your trust is in guns and chariots" then you will have woe.

Jesus is Lord, if you are the servant of the Lord in all that you do then no one is in a position to judge you. However one or two verses doesn't annul the Lord's judgement. He also said that if we build with wood, hay and stubble we will be saved but so as through fire. All of our works will be burned up.

You say you are preparing for a rainy day. I am saying that only Jesus is an umbrella. Now if you are standing there in the rain under the umbrella then you would agree and say amen.

So in your opinion, Noah wasted his time building the ark.
Joseph wasted his time preparing for the famine.
The five wise virgins wasted their time taking extra oil.
I trust Jesus completely but I see many examples where we are to do our part to prepare.
I have have seen to many people who "trusted in the Lord" while wasting opportunity after opportunity to prepare come begging for help.
It is not about guns and chariots, it is about doing your part with complete trust in God.

No, after reading your post my opinion is that you didn't read what I wrote and you are intentionally being abrasive.

What I understood you are saying is that to prepare for a rainy day is to not trust in God's provision.
If that is not what you mean, than please make that clear.

I have not seen any shortages. We live in the middle of farm country, so if there are shortages, we have food around.

All the stores are well stocked, but if there are shortages, we will grab more groceries.

Thanks for letting us know about the possibility of shortages. It never hurts to have extra food in hand.

I have lived in this country 64+ years and have never seen a food shortage. Our local grocery did run out of eggs, but we bought chickens and now have fresh eggs daily. Milk has gone up significantly, but we can buy cheaper substitutes for that. When there is a perceived shortage, producers raise prices. We can combat that by not buying higher priced items.
